/8: Did you know that 20 workers in India lose their hands or fingers in crush injuries every day? This is a humanitarian and economic loss to the country.
/8: Many of these accidents happen in smaller factories for large auto brands, where workers often receive little support from management.
/8: The injured workers also face challenges in accessing healthcare and compensation through the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).
/8: We are a group of youth who care about this cause, and are helping @safeinindia to raise awareness about this issue and provide resources to workers through their new online series "Gang of Shramikpur" Link: bit.ly/GoSIIMA011
/8: The series provides an immersive and intimate account of an injured worker's journey in availing compensatory benefits from ESIC after his accident in a factory.
/8: By watching this series, workers will gain a better understanding of the benefits and support available to them through ESIC, as well as the process and challenges they may face in obtaining those benefits.
/8: We urge you to engage with this content and share it with your networks, particularly those who may be interested in learning more about worker's issues and the compensation processes of ESIC.
/8: Together, we can raise awareness about worker's issues and improve the lives of workers in the manufacturing industry.
