Shows maturity & composure way beyond his age. Add the anticipation, mobility, ball-winning, passing & it's easy to see why he's an elite talent.
Still far from a finished product, though.
As for 🇷🇸. It's not over until he rejects Piksi.
Bajčetić's main quality is how well he handles pressure, or pausa, often inviting it to create space.
Well-thought-out openings, goes against the flow of his opponent, can dribble his way out of trouble, smart body feints, 1st time passes. You name it.
Bajčetić already has an impressive read of the game. As he gains more experience & his reaction time further improves, he'll become an interception machine.
The same goes for ball-winning, once he gains the strength & firmness he now sometimes lacks.
Bajčetić mostly keeps play flowing, with short, quick passes, but when given time has the range & ability to play quality switches & long balls.
There's also potential there for a more progressive role from deep, both with carries & distribution.
It's not all sunshine & rainbows, however. Bajčetić at times still shows nativity with his aggressive closing down, which gets exploited by good players.
He also lacks strength & sometimes conviction, in duels, while shielding, or tackling.
It's clear Bajčetić is an elite talent in a very demanding & important position. His composure alone makes him a unicorn.
However, even he'll need time & patience. City was a great test which showed just that. But I do believe we're looking one of the best 6s of the future.

The 17-year-old, dubbed 'Messi,' has been highly anticipated.
I’ll divide my analysis over two threads:
• This thread: strengths and weaknesses, with detailed insights using video and data
• Second thread: off-pitch and mental aspects

To me, he has two potential paths: he could become a controller like Çalhanoğlu or, more likely, continue his development as a connector like Modrić.
The key?
• Expanding his zone of influence
• Keeping play ahead of him
• Allowing freedom to roam between the lines
𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞
Maksimović is a pass-first connector who thrives with freedom to roam, linking play and maintaining rhythm.
His composure and quick thinking enable him to create chances for himself and teammates in the final third, while his ball-striking adds a goal threat.
Before you decide to go with the majority & write off this 23-year-old, I urge you to take out 10–15 minutes of your time to read my thread & watch the clips.
It may change your mind, or it may not. But at least it'll be an informed decision. https://t.co/ooyeZcaCYQtwitter.com/i/web/status/1…
𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥-𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞
His mix of technical proficiency, power & precision is ultra-rare. Natural-born talent. It was there when he was 10. The same hip movement.
That's why it's sustainable. His shooting is a football hack.

Myth. A confident & healthy Vlahović is a varied finisher, from different angles.
Can do it with chips, composure, first time, extra touch, across the body, against the flow & even some acrobatics.
