If we follow Lenin's definition of imperialism as the highest stage of capitalism, the stage of development at which the dominance of monopolies and finance capital is established, then clearly Russia is not imperialistic at all.

And if we follow the military definition of imperialism, "extending a country's power and influence through the use of military force", then again Russia doesn't fit the definition.
