Fascinating new data from the #Census2021 on sexual orientation by age.
This doesn't mean being lesbian, gay or bisexual has become more common: it just means younger generations feel more able to come out and live their true lives.
The same goes for trans people.
The number of openly trans people will grow - just as the number of openly LGB people will, too - as younger people stand up to the bigotry of older generations.
One of the big unspoken stories of modern LGBTQ+ Britain is the rise of the bisexuals.
Women are more than twice as likely to identify as bisexual as men.
But this is probably because of the specific stigma attached to male bisexuality - which is often portrayed as "bi now, gay later" - while female bisexuals are more likely to suffer sexual objectification.
What this means in practice is there's a far bigger openly LGB+ female population under the age of 35, when previously there was a bigger male LGB+ population.
Tell me you've never met any lesbians, gays or bisexual people without telling me you've never met any lesbians, gays or bisexual people.
In BBC coverage, mentions of Israeli and Palestinians deaths competed for space since 7th October.
That's despite far more Palestinian deaths.
There's one exception - a huge spike in the mentions of Palestinian deaths in early April.
The reason for this should disturb you.
On 1st April 2024, Israel bombed a World Central Kitchen aid convoy.
That killed multiple Western aid workers. So the BBC took a heightened interest in their deaths.
But their driver was Palestinian. So after mentioning their nationalities, they'd mention his.
So the only time you get a spike in the mention of Palestinian deaths by the BBC is because several Westerners were killed, and a Palestinian was killed alongside them.
What a hideously chilling indictment of how the BBC considers the value of life.
Whenever you get smeared with a false claim of antisemitism - I dunno, you object to Israeli hooligans beating people up, or Israeli soldiers shooting kids in the head - click on their profile.
You will almost always come across a sewer of racism.
On the one hand, there are the right-wing extremists who openly incite racist bile against Arabs and Muslims.
Then there are the 'liberals' who don't even pretend to treat Palestinian or Muslim life as having worth, or treat anti-Arab racism as having meaning.
All are racists.
Antisemitism is a serious evil, responsible within living memory for the Holocaust, and it is unquestionably rising.
What those who deploy it as a convenient smear to silence opponents of mass murder do is empty it of meaning. Irresponsible doesn't even cover it.
@SkyNews posted a video accurately describing what happened in Amsterdam.
It described violence perpetrated by Israeli football hooligans, and their hideous racism.
They then deleted it. This is the original.
They then posted a re-edit.
Except it's not a re-edit. It's a totally different video, which now qualifies as disinformation.
@SkyNews then posted a tweet saying their previous video didn't meet their standards for balance and impartiality.
That was deleted too.
@SkyNews The new video strips away crucial context, downplays anti-Arab racism, adds in testimony from a Maccabee fan but none from victims of Maccabee hooliganism, etc.
- Interrupted a minute’s silence in memory of dead flood victims with chants in support of killing Ukrainian children
- Rampaged through the city
- Ripped down Ukrainian flags
- Chanted “death to Ukrainians”
- Attacked local residents
Imagine then, when local residents attacked them, they were presented as victims of a racist pogrom.
Mainstream media outlets and politicians are simply lying about Amsterdam.
This gaslighting is just insane.
We can see for ourselves what racist, genocidal Israeli football hooligans chanted and did 👇
Mainstream media outlets constantly decry the spread of disinformation on social media.
And yet you literally have to rely on social media to correct the disinformation being spread by mainstream media outlets about what actually happened in Amsterdam.
