@Dangerfox chooses not to address this, ever. At best, they later suggest that people should not react angrily to zoos because it will strengthen the “zoosexual cult” — not because yelling “burn ‘em!” is unacceptable no matter who it is.
Meanwhile, actual zoos are sitting in this room being told that they are cultists, and that their own acceptance of their sexuality is a threat to the therian community. That’s after being likened to Nazis and being told to burn, all with the endorsement of both panelists.
You know what? Maybe instead you should have said, “Yes, we are aware of people using the zeta symbol. This refers to zoophiles, and while we have some strong feelings on the subject, this isn’t really the time or the place to get into that.”
Problem solved.

Civility went out the window when you created an environment where people were comfortable and encouraged to call for acts of violence against zoophiles.
You compared zoos to Nazis and cultists, and clear calls of “burn them all” rang out from your audience, and you did nothing.
You did nothing, while zoo therians sat in your audience and took the abuse you spewed out of your sewer mouth. You did nothing when the words you said emboldened your audience toward violent rhetoric. You do nothing when violence is called for on your timeline. Civility died.
I did not speak openly about this, and I wasn’t going to, but if you’re going to say my name and lie about the truth of what happened in YOUR panel, I’m happy to bring this to light.
I hear this comment about being a hero a lot lately. So like... I don’t consider anything I’m doing or have done particularly heroic. I am energized by people saying our work has a positive affect on their lives, but it definitely is just us doing a podcast.
I’m not out on the front lines, so to speak, protesting, or providing aid to other zoos, or consistently volunteering with animal rights groups. I’m just doing what I always do, and that’s being creative with something I’m passionate about.
I’m super glad that what we do has a positive effect on people’s lives, but you don’t have to be a “hero” to do that. Anyone can do that. You can do that.
Be a positive person in someone else’s life. That’s not a grand gesture, but it will be appreciated.
Ok, I can’t ignore this anymore. I haven’t said anything about this because I haven’t really been sure how to respond, or if I even wanted to respond, but I kind of have to address this.
Thread incoming.
I will absolutely support someone who comes to me and says, “I have zoosadist fantasies, but I don’t ever want to act on them.”
What I can’t support is a zoosadist pride movement, even if you’re non practicing. And I think it’s fair that you ask for an explanation.
I will give the benefit of the doubt that someone who made a non-practicing zoosadist flag had noble intentions. Here’s the problem:
The practicing sadists use those types of things as dog whistles, and we have evidence that they do this. Ample evidence.
