Most people want the Russo-Ukrainian conflict to end so we can stop worrying about the future. Some think the only way it can end is if Russia withdraws and gives up Novorossiya and Crimea. But that would not end the war, because UkroNazis want WW3 & won't let it end that way...
They'll make sure that the war shifts to the rest of Rus Fed soil, instead... spewing nonsense about how we need to "decolonize" Russia for the sake of a long-lasting peace, and they'll manage to drag the rest of the world into that fight.
The only way that this can end, is if Ukraine loses this war and gives up Novorossiya and Crimea. UkroManiacs say that won't work because Russia wants to seize all of Ukraine, and then move on to the rest of Europe...
To test which theory is true, a treaty should put on the table, offering recognition of Russia's sovereignty over NovoRossiya and Crimea, or at the least, giving NovoRossiya and Crimea independence. If Russia actually wants more than this, they'll reject the deal.
As far as testing whether Ukraine would stop with a Russian withdrawal... we don't need to test that theory. They, and the NeoCons, are already saying stuff about decolonizing Russia, and stuff about how there will be no peace as long as Russia still exists.
Russia withdrawal also would not resolve the civil war. That war was going on before Russia launched their SMO, and would continue after Russia leaves. Our leaders and the "experts" keep ignoring that part of the conflict... the *people* of Crimea and Donbass.
What about *their* struggle for freedom from an oppressive government that has done violence against them since 2014? Why aren't their rights to self-defense and self-determination respected or even acknowledged?
Ignoring the *people* of Crimea and Donbass is how this mess happened in the first place, and this war won't end unless and until their existence and agency are acknowledged. #DonbassLivesMatter#CrimeaIsCrimean
They wouldn't and shouldn't, but it's not just about "Russian speakers". Russia has also protected Armenians and Syrians. They are the only ones who come to the aid of people who are *actually* being butchered by terrorists.
1. Why does it not matter to pro-Ukraine Twitter that Ukrainian militias started bombing t/f out of Donbass on February 16, 2022, with lethal aid that the U.S. had just sent the Ukrainian government?
2. People who mention these bombings are silenced with accusations of "justifying Russia's brutal invasion". But if Ukraine actually did start bombing t/f out of Donbass, then Russia's SMO, launched in defense of Donbass, actually was justified.
3. There is no good reason to denounce Russia's military assistance to Donbass, only bad ones. Bad ones... like somehow believing that Donbass does not have the right to defend themselves or to be defended by anyone if they are facing a stronger aggressor.
You know... whenever the US, other Western countries, or one of the former "captive nations" accuse Russia of doing something, it's usually something that they, themselves, have been proven guilty of. google.com/search?client=…

If the shoe were on the other foot, Ukraine would call this an act of genocide. They still call the Interwar drought a Bolshevik orchestrated act of genocide against white Ukrainians, & that one was an act of nature that the USSR tried to solve w/ modernization & rationing food.
You missed the part about the Trump Tower meeting being about a Russian lawyer wanting to provide Trump staff with evidence that Bill Browder was funneling illegal cash into Mrs Clinton's campaign. documentcloud.org/documents/4366…
Investigation by Politifact reveals that Browder *did* funnel cash into her campaign, tho not as much as the Russian lawyer claimed. They found $17,700 donated to Clinton and another $297,000 to the DNC. politifact.com/factchecks/201…
US officials are delighted that Europe is now dependent on the US instead of Rus for natural gas... at the cost of our own citizens whose natural gas bills have at least tripled because of this fuckery. Only ones in this story who aren't suffering are Western energy barons & Rus.
Dumbest part about the USIC's claim about Russia weaponizing energy: Weaponizing it to do what? To maintain peaceful relations w/ European countries who they supply? Why is this portrayed as an act of hostility? Why should we want to destroy a mechanism that maintains peace?
Read this *entire* article. Gazprom sales are down, but Russia's overall natural gas exports are up by 10%. naturalgasintel.com/gazprom-in-sea…
UkroManiacs are cheering about tanks and calling for fighter jets. I imagine Ukraine intends to wage a do-over of the Battle of Kursk, but with what they think would be a better strategy this time around. historynet.com/battle-of-kurs…
