#FCDallas leaves for Spain tomorrow and Coach Nico says they will cut down the roster before they go. He also says this year #DTID will again just carry 28 on the roster & not the full 30.

Currently, there are 26 players under contract (not counting Justin Che & Dante Sealy).

There are three draft picks in camp. Yes, they could add 1 or 2... but I don't think it's likely. All three are, IMO, more likely to end up at North Texas SC if signed.

But we'll see.

Endeley is a winger but is being considered for right-back conversion. If he signs with the org, he will be 1 of 5 right backs under contract.

So a RB may need to go on loan. Collin Smith to USL would be my preference to push Smith's development past Next Pro.

Wittenbrink (F) has the double problem of being a bit older at 24 and being injured all this week, the last week before cuts.

I hear he's a smart player though. Coach Nico likes soccer smarts.

Lacey was always going to be a long shot in the 3rd round and like most 3rd round picks was effectively picked for NTX. Hell, so are 2nd round picks usually.

He's an attacking mid or false 9 with a good engine.

So what might happen with the final two roster spots?
Good question.

FCD is still looking for players. CB starter challenger and some 9 depth perhaps. They do have an open DP spot and an open International spot. They usually have plenty of TAM/GAM too.

Primary transfer window: Jan 31 - April 24
(plenty of time to sign players.)

Summer window: July 5 - Aug 2.
(Just in time for Leagues Cup starting July 21.)
