All had comments critical of the government recorded by the "anti-fake news" units.
The investigation is based on scores of Freedom of Information requests, and the co-operation of dozens of people in public life who submitted Subject Access Requests to the government to demand copies of their data held by the so-called disinformation units.

We made dummy Facebook accounts to test MPs' controversial statements against Facebook's extensive content rules.

Statements by @BorisJohnson @NadineDorries & @AngelaRayner breached content rules & were removed.

A comment made in 2013 by @NadineDorries - now the minister leading the Online Safety Bill - was removed by Facebook for breaching its “Community Standards on violence and incitement”.

She recently defended her comment, telling the @OnlineSafetyCom it was “totally appropriate”. Image
Labour Deputy Leader @AngelaRayner’s controversial comments made in February this year were removed from Facebook when posted by our dummy account, for breaching the violence and incitement policy.
