Super 🧵of Trump acknowledging that Desantis led the way in keeping Florida free and open.

Here is Trump acknowledging that Desantis was opening schools before anyone else.
Trump telling Floridians “you didn’t close”…
Trump telling Pennsylvanians their state should be more like Florida…
Trump acknowledging that HE closed the economy.
Trump conveying how much he wanted spas, salons, barber shops, and tattoo parlors to remain closed. At the end of this clips he says Dr Fauci wasn’t happy with Brian Kemp (by extension we can assume he wasn’t happy with Desantis)

Trump seems to really care what Fauci thinks.🤔

Trump showing Dr Fauci some love. Apparently he’s one of the best people on Earth according to Trump.
Trump has A LOT of respect for Dr Fauci and will listen to him when it comes to extending restrictions.
Not only was Trump pro-lockdown, he thought it would be a good idea if we just did away with things like shaking hands and being close to one another after the pandemic was over. That was his instinct when the crisis hit.

Desantis never said anything like this.
Wow Trump really had it out for spas, salons, and tattoo parlors. #LockdownDon was arbitrarily choosing what businesses were worthy reopening and he used his bully pulpit to punish Kemp when he got out of line.

Know anyone who works at one of these establishments?
Loyalty is a one way street with Trump. Desantis owes him nada.
Ouch!! Trump was seriously open to the concept of continuing COVID guidelines after the pandemic. This includes not shaking hands. He checked with Fauci and Fauci seemed to like this concept.

Trump’s instinct was to trust Fauci. Desantis’ instinct was freedom for Florida.

Why @jordanbpeterson should not be on Twitter. Short🧵

Jordan Peterson is an intellectual giant. He has something important to say. This is not the venue for those type of people. Every tweet cheapens the potency of his message and brings him down to earth.

This is not good.
“Down to earth” may sound good but the world still needs intellectual giants.

Would C.S. Lewis be C.S. Lewis if in between writing books he got into Twitter spats? How about Nelson Mandela? GK Chesterton? Booker T Washington?

The thought of any of those guys on Twitter is 🤢
Not because of anything wrong with them. But because of what’s wrong with this format. (Sorry @elonmusk) It’s fine for mere mortals but intellectual giants cease to be intellectual giants in 280 characters + replies + likes.

Reading through Looney @LauraLoomer’s ridiculous Substack on J6 prisoners so you don’t have to.

TLDR she’s blaming Desantis for not cleaning up Trump’s mess. The common theme nothing is EVER Dear Leader’s fault. #ItsACult

First, the irony of her calling out people making”boatloads of money” off Trump’s name…which is what she is attempting to do now.

It is also inconceivable to #TrumpGriftInc that people who supported Trump could genuinely grow tired of his constant buffoonery and losing.
@LauraLoomer is@doing Trump damage control. He knows the fact that he didn’t pardon is going to bite him in the primary. This is an attempt to stop the bleeding.

Things to note- Trump could have pardoned the J6ers BEFORE they were charged. See Ford’s pardon to Nixon…
