Todd Boehly & Chelsea are not here to take part rather we’re here to takeover.
You don’t get it do you?
You’ve NEVER seen a rebuild like this before!

🧵[THREAD]
Let’s rewind all the way to March 10th when we were woken up to the news that the UK Government, in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, would be sanctioning certain influential individuals who may have been assisting in funding the military effort.
That list had a certain
russian business tycoon.
Mr.Roman Abramovich.
Chelsea F.C’s owner.
Yeah, it was a wreck, every single asset was frozen and unable to operate.
Effectively, Chelsea couldn’t do anything. Or rather they couldn’t, had it not been for the special licence afforded to them by the
government.
Those 3 months were the toughest, everywhere was dim, no light at the end of the tunnel(Not withstanding the Lukaku situation)
We got wins thanks to late/clutch goals from Kai(I’ll give him a last chance I think), Kova was playing at an elite level when fit.
Thiago silva was a rock at the back(as was Reece).
We ultimately got t4 thanks to WC plays from our world class players.
Tuchel was admirable during this period, believe it or not i used to stand with him(hated the haram tho) and believe/still believe he’s a top 5 tactician itw.
He just can’t connect with people and also can’t improve players(stuffs that ultimately matter when ‘building’ a team), keyword ‘Building’ , you can’t tell Tuchel to build a squad of ages 26 and under and tell him to make them a winning side in 2 seasons. He’s not that manager,
he’s the type that I like to define a ‘stabilizer’(someone that can take a dead team)in their prime, not a young team) and revive them whilst in the process making them very competitive and, your ancelotti’s, Heynckes’s etc
He’s not a Pep, a Mou(sounds crazy but he built a UCL
winning team in Porto and was handpicked by you guessed who?Roman Abramovich, to lead the first Chelsea FC dynasty.
He’s not an Arteta or someone that has ultimately ever shown the ability to lead rebuild(re:Talent ID, being cooperative with management).
Tuchel had to go.
I could see it inforesight(something 95% of the fanbase couldn’t), and I don’t blame them.
I mean this guy just won us the freaking UCL(not 100% his handiwork like they’d make you believe).
That squad was already drilled for the 3ATB(you know what I’m saying)
Conte started it,
Sarri disrupted it(for a good cause), then Lampard came and basically just used both managers system throughout the season.
Check Chelsea 19/20, we mostly used a 3ATB against big teams(AND dominated) whilst still not losing any attacking freedom.
You might say oh, Lampards
defence at Chelsea was shit(I wouldn’t necessarily agree because if you know the game and watch it with a deeper meaning you’d know that at least half of the goals we conceded shouldn’t have been allowed(kepa tax).
I wouldn’t say Lampards defensive scheme was the best(Tuchels
for example is the 10x better in that regard), I’m just telling you that the players were that good that even with a worse stabiliser manager(someone like Poch)they would still have been able to at least reach the UCL finals(that team was loaded).
Not taking anything away from
tuchel.
He made them enjoy defending whilst still being OK attacking wise (the one balance Lampard and Sarri couldn’t).

Fast forward to April 2022 and it was announced that Todd Boehly & Clearlake had won the race to buy Chelsea.
Amid all the speculations of Qatari owners
and whatnot I knew Todd was the man.
I had friends in the U.S telling me that we’d better be hoping it’s Boehly that wins the race because if he did we wouldn’t know what we had in store for us.
He takes care of his teams like they’re his children, one of my friend remarked).
I immediately knew he was the one.

In the midst of this all we had a disappointing end to the season(RMA UCL loss, FA cup loss).
It was tough but there was reason for hope.
We had youngsters coming back from loan, being spearheaded by 2 potentially elite players(Broja and
Colwill).
There was hope(or at least we thought).

Fast forward to the beginning of the summer transfer window(Boehly and Co’s first)and we came out of it(being spearheaded by Tuchel)
with Sterling(a good signing that’ll pay dividends in the end), Koulibaly(you know my thoughts)
Cucu(6.5/10), Carney(8.5/10), Fofana(8/10)(we should have kept Colwill instead), Zakaria(no words) alongside youth signings Hutchinson and Caseidi.
A genuine 5/10 window.
Tuchel had the keys, but ultimately, like stated above can’t be trusted with building a squad. The season
started and we started off with 3 wins in 7 matches(not ideal) since we were meant to be this ‘winning side’, hereby elongating our rebuild process by another 3 months.
The summer that was meant to be used for youth integration was the one that we tried using as ‘a last dance’,
spoiler alert. it didn’t go well.
Tuchel had to go.
He just had to.
After the loss to Dynamo Kyiv, Boehly had had enough.
The morning after, Tuchel was sacked.
A bittersweet taste left in the mouth.

Fast forward to 72 hours and Graham Potter was announced as the new Manager.
Tuchel stans went crazy, the whole fanbase in disarray.
How would a Brighton manager lead Chelsea?
Everyone laughed it off(and are still).

What they don’t get is that Potter is a top 3 coach when it comes to individual training and player development, the single two most
important aspects when building a young team.
Potter started off with a 1-1 draw vs RB Salzburg (while using a 3-1-3-3 in possession(a system that’s not optimal at the highest level).
Ask yourself why?
We don’t have any outlets and had a DM that couldn’t really roam about
the pitch, in addition to having subpar wingers that couldn’t hold the ball underpresure(Ziyech,Pulisic).
We needed a backup RB, 2 midfielders, one more CB(in addition to Colwill), 3 attackers and one GK.

Boehly looked at this and got Nkunku in(check ‘Nkunku thread’ on my acct)
I’d been scouting Enzo,Gvardiol,Gusto,Rice/Lavia for over 3months before the summer window even ended and knew this were the young crop of ballers to take us back to the top.
I watched Enzo for the first time during a Benfica Pre-season game(I’d been hearing about him 6 months
prior and though to my self that what was I watching?
What’s this passing?, the composure, the maturity beyond his age.
The full package, I needed him, I hoped boehly too(he did).

I’d been watching Gusto since Oct 2021, my first match watching him was against Marseille and
I came out that match in awe.
Ever since that match and more of analysing him, I knew he was the RB we needed for the future.

I hoped Gvardiol would’ve come(not necessarily angry since Colwill is on the same tier and we have badia now).

Agreed I never scouted Mudryk for
Chelsea because I thought he was going to arsenal.
I wanted Leao instead.
Boehly added on icing on top the cake by even potentially signing Felix on a perm(something I’m praying for).

The last jigsaw of the puzzle is the 6.
Rice/Lavia?
The ball is in Boehly’s court.
Chelsea are coming for the whole of Europe.
Be prepared.
Be scared.
We’re not here to take part, we’re here to take over.
This is a young team of 25 and under, all full of mentality monsters.
This is a dynasty in waiting.
If you can’t see that now, you’d never be able to see it till it becomes a reality.
