Ps 145
The Lord is faithful in all his words
, loving in all his deeds.
The Lord supports all who fall
& raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all creatures look to You
.You give them their food in due time. You open wide your hand,
grant the desires of all who live
The Lord is just in all his ways,
loving in all his deeds.
He is close to all […]
who call on him from their hearts.
He grants the desires of those who fear him,
he hears their cry & saves them.
The Lord protects all who love him;
but the wicked he will utterly destroy.
Let me speak the praise of the Lord,
let all peoples bless his holy name
for ever, for ages unending.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
— as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.
Lord, be near to all who call upon You in truth & increase the dedication of those who revere You. Hear their prayers & save them that they may always love You & praise your Holy Name.
Ant. To You alone, Lord, we look w/ confidence; You are ever close to those who call upon You.
My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
my spirit rejoices in God my Savior
for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant.
From this day all generations will call me blessed…

Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, you have deigned to come to Fatima to reveal to the three shepherd children there the treasures of grace hidden…
(There’s a place in this prayer for your personal prayer intention.)
(For those who don’t believe, we pray…)
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord…
For the Holy Father
Our Father Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name
Thy kingdom come
Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us…
For an increase of Faith, Hope, & Charity in our souls & our world
Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.

is now, and ever shall be,

A Prayer for Protection in Time of Pandemic
O Mary, you always brighten our path as a sign of salvation and of hope…
The USCCB asked the faithful to add this prayer after the Rosary (by Pope Leo XIII) during the Year of St. Joseph. I’m keeping it here in our Rosary. 🙏🏻
"These government-owned-and-run schools were modeled on statist European education in Prussia, and attracted socialist activist teachers who saw public school students as perfect subjects for re-engineering society." In the 1800s.
In a 2003 article titled “NEA Hastens Death of American Education,” veteran journalist Ralph de Toledano wrote that in 1938 “the Institute for Social Research [better known as the Frankfurt School], founded by the Comintern...
“The Frankfurt School’s program, implemented by the NEA, made the goal of education not to educate the young but to give them an anarchic ‘self-esteem’ and deprive them of any sense of what’s wrong or right …"
Did I ever tell you about the time I recited the Creed in a coffee shop? I was talking with a young man about religion and he siad he didnt know what he believed. He asked if i did. And he asked what I believe. He was surprised when I had an answer. catholicheartandmind.com/2023/01/30/cof…
At least most of the typos are in the tweet, not in the post itself. I have to enlarge the font a gazillion times to see it while I'm preparing the post on WordPress. Tech& the internet mostly act like people with vision problems don't exist. That and I could learn to proofread.
Except for that extra line in there. 😆 Sigh. There’s a spot on the post for the text for the tweet and I totally blew it when I pasted it in & then “edited” it. Yeah, well, I needed to edit it better, huh.

"The world religions can play the role of the star that puts men on the path, that leads them to search for the kingdom of God. The star of the religions points toward Jerusalem; it is extinguished and relit in the Word of God, in the Holy Scripture of Israel."
The Word of God preserved in Scripture appears as the true star, which we cannot dispense with or ignore if we wish to reach the goal. When the Catechism calls the star the “star of David”, it further connects the story of the wise men to Balaam’s prophecy...
concerning the star that rises from Jacob (Nb 24:17). It sees this prophecy linked in turn with Jacob’s blessing of Judah, in which he promises the staff and scepter to the one “to whom the obedience of the peoples is due” (Gen. 49:10).
