Lift up your eyes!

Isaiah 51:6
Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment,
and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but My salvation shall be for ever, and My righteousness shall not be abolished.

What are you focused on today? Have you lost your focus on what is most important? On eternity?
What do you want for yourself, for your family, your children, and for others?

I had a young girl who was living a sinful life tell me, my Mom just wants me to be happy!
My reply to her was that my number one desire for my children, is that they be saved, and that their hearts be completely His! This may mean that they will not always be happy by the world’s standards.
Fulfilling the desires of the flesh, whatever those might be, may bring a temporary feeling of happiness, but only walking in obedience to God will bring what’s more important, salvation, peace and joy!
Have you become so focused on the things of this earth, that you’ve forgotten what is important to Him? Or have you even taken time to read His Word, and to talk to Him, and you don’t really even know?
Shifting the focus a little to what many of us who read these words are doing, are you more concerned about exposing people’s sin and evil, that you’ve forgotten that Jesus died for these sinful, evil ones too? That He loves them?
John 3:16-17
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.
Expose sin we must, but we are also told to love, and bless our enemies. Do you want them to be saved, or do you want them to be damned to hell? Do we pray the wicked ones we expose will turn to Him? He does!
Matthew 5:44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
Ezekiel 33:11
As I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live.
Fleshly desires seek happiness, pleasure, to see the wicked fall and be punished, to see prosperity for ourselves, and even our Country, and to have every lust of the flesh, and eyes satisfied!
But we are told not to seek these things, but to seek the things that are above!

Colossians 3:1-2
If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
God will have His justice, sinners will fall, vindication will come at His hand, but we must have His heart, and His eyes, for this very brief time we’re on this earth.
Ask Him today, to refocus you, to let you see things and people from His perspective!

Let your days that remain be spent on things with eternal value, and your desire be to hear Him say to you, well done good and faithful servant!

What is Dominion Theology?

Dominion Theology, also called "Kingdom Now Theology," is a false teaching stating that man is commissioned to bring the entire world under the dominion of Christianity,
rightwingwatch.org/post/dave-haye…
by force if necessary, and then, hand over the Christianized world to Jesus when He comes.

Dominion Theology is predicated upon these basic beliefs:
•God gave Adam dominion over the earth
•Satan usurped man’s dominion over the earth through the fall of Adam and Eve
•Jesus defeated Satan and took dominion back in his victory on the cross
•He then gave dominion back to believers

My reply to my friend:

The peace we have is from the Lord! Peace in knowing whatever we face, and no matter how bad things look, He is on His throne and His purposes will be fulfilled!!

The Bible has prophesied many things that have YET to be fulfilled. Things that those who teach the FALSE teaching of Dominion Theology as this false prophet teaches have already happened, already have been fulfilled!

Have you considered your calling?

What do you think of when you think of the highest office? President, king, emperor? Governor, mayor, CEO?

Do you know what your calling is in Christ?
Philippians 3:14
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Did you know you are an Ambassador?

2 Corinthians 5:20
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

Recompense no man evil for evil!

Romans 12:17-21
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves,
but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

We are called to expose evil, and especially evil among those who claim they are Christians. Sin left unaddressed in the church brings reproach on the Lord!

There WILL come a day!

Are your eyes on the sky? Do you look for and hasten the day Jesus will return?
2 Peter 3:12
Looking for & hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, & the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Or, are you among the scoffers, who say, He’s not coming back! They’ve been saying that forever! Where is He?
2 Peter 3:3-4
Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
