Audio from FRANK01 (Langley AFB F-22) calling, “SPASH ONE”confirming to “HUNTRESS” (Eastern Air Defense Sector “EADS”) that the #ChineseSpyBallon is completely destroyed off the coast of South Carolina today 😎
*Big thanks to 📷Brett728 for sharing pics and 🕵️♀️ for the audio!
If this is true, then we have some real ✈️🤓 in high places assigning callsigns
In case you didn’t know what the abbreviation “TOI” stood for…
In case you didn’t what “EADS” meant. Things have changed over the years but basically NORAD divides US airspace into 2 parts. WADS = Western Air Defense Sector, callsign “BIGFOOT” and then you have the Eastern Air Defense Sector, callsign “HUNTRESS”
The Americans along with their Canadian counterparts watch over North American airspace 24/7 identifying aerial threats, It’s like the movie “War Games” but for real. The history of these facilities date back to the Cold War.
This PBS special will give you even further insight as what they do:
It’s important to laugh and this sums up what living in the “South” is like… 🤦🏻♂️🤣 I wish I was there #ChineseSpyBalloon
Oh boy… now things are getting slightly out of hand 🤦🏻♂️
Ok, are we back and feeling good after a long time?

Pilot ejects from F-35 plane in North Charleston, South Carolina and the pilot was found on a nearby city street just north of the airport. This aircraft is from MCAS Beaufort. Thanks @ShanKelly10 for the link
September 11th, 2001 - Boeing E-4B NAOC callsign ADDIS77 scrambled from Andrews AFB. While ATC was calling them “VENUS” which is a typical callsign used at Andrews, you can hear the urgency of the pilot wanting to get airborne. The E-4 orbited over Washington DC for a while…
Before continuing on to Offutt AFB in Omaha. This aircraft in the video is referred to as NEACP (National Emergency Airborne Command Post) This aircraft can serve as a flying WH/Pentagon if you will. Not knowing how the rest of the day was going to turn out…
The aircraft got airborne assuming for safety reasons (safer in air than on the ground) and if needed would have flown to pickup the President or next in the line of succession (Continuity of government). Some CNN footage about the day ADDIS77 orbited DC
🧵Since Aug 27th - The “Nuke sniffer” WC-135R (flying from Japan) and x2 RC-135S Cobra Balls (flying from Alaska) have been seen heading towards the Kamchatka Peninsula, Russia. A NOTAM has been in effect over the Kura Test Range which has been used for ICBM tests in the past. KC-135s have also been supporting these operations.
Some interesting news posted today by @nukestrat. While this may not mean that this particular sub is a participant related to the NOTAM above, it is of general interest.
Another interesting aircraft that has been seen recently is the Open Skies Tupolev Tu-214ON operating at low altitudes at the same time the WC-135R left Japan. They positioned to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on Aug 23rd. While this aircraft’s flight may not have anything to do with the NOTAM, it is still notable. You can read more about the Open Skies Tupolev here:
Interesting day above the Western US today… Billings, MT airport was put on a ground stop for, “Special military missions” A balloon was spotted over the city. F-22s (RAMBO & RAPTOR) were refueled by KC-10 / KC-46 (ABATE), AWACS also in the area. F-22s went back to Nellis. twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
Today’s E-4B NAOC callsign giving a shout out to the 1988 film “Big” 😎
Callsigns in reference to 1980’s movies seem to be the theme this month for the E-4B NAOC “CHUNK85” in reference to the 1985 film “Goonies” and “MCFLY85” in reference to Marty McFly from the 1985 film “Back to the Future” 😊
The E-4B NAOC 1980’s movie themed callsigns continue today with GOZER84 in reference to Gozer (Sumerian shape-shifting god of destruction) who was the villain in the 1984 film Ghostbusters 👻
