I think we can thank #DAYS Headwriter Anne Howard Bailey for building Jack's redemption and getting this odd pair together; and producer Al Rabin + HWs Richard Allen/Anne Schoettle for Cruise of Deception thru Alameinia/post-rape/wedding plot. Bravo (& RIP to those gone).
@BaxendaleMom @olderbrother21 Of course, Allen/Schoettle also wrote John & Isabella. 2nd fave #DAYS couple, totally different dynamic. Another indelible scene for me was during the Cruise arc, when John had to tell Isabella her "loving" dad had killed Isabella's mom--& was poisoning IzzyB too. GOTHIC ANGST!💕
@BaxendaleMom @olderbrother21 Found it. I forgot it was IzzyB reading the diary of her own mom's agonizing death. Loved Isabella. With her & John it's a close call who's got the best hair in that scene, but Staci Greason will always win that battle. Esp. without a Rambo mullet. #DAYS
