First witness for the state in #XXXTentacion murder trial is Cecelia Ramos. She was working at Bank of America the day the rapper died. He came into the bank and wanted to withdraw $250K. The bank didn't keep that kind of case on hand. She gave him $50K and 'ordered' the rest
BANK VIDEO: Ramos testifies #XXXTentacion came into the bank with a Louis Vuitton bag that he normally carried. You see him smile and talk with the teller.
Ramos told #XXXTentacion they could only give him $50K of the $250K he requested. The bank would "order" the remaining $200K and he could pick it up Friday. He was killed later that day and the killers stole the bag with the $50K.
Next witness for the state is Leonard Kerr. He was with #XXXTentacion the day of the murder, he escaped out of the passenger seat when the robbery was happening.
Leonard Kerr, described by prosecutor in her opening as #XXXTentacion's step-uncle, takes the stand. He is originally from Jamaica, moving to Florida in 2015.
Kerr (on the stand) is the man in this video seen fleeing from the passenger seat of X's car, while the two masked men appear to shoot at him or at least point their guns as he's running away. #XXXTentacion

Next on the stand is #AlexMurdaugh's former paralegal Annette Griswold.
Griswold testifies that after the boat crash #AlexMurdaugh was more unavailable than ever. When he was in the office, his door was often shut. Things changed after the boat crash.
Griswold testifies about checks made out to "Forge". Griswold would ask #AlexMurdaugh if she could go ahead and mail those to Michael Gunn at Forge Consulting and Alex would tell her he would deliver to him by saying he's going to see him tonight, this weekend, etc...
Opening statement: Prosecutor says Dedrick Williams (bow tie) was driving and cutoff the car driven by @xxxtentacion Michael Boatwright (orange) & Trayvon Newsome (grey) put on masks and are armed. Passenger manages to run away. They rob the rapper & Boatwright shoots/kills him.
There is a 4th co-defendant, Robert Allen, who pleaded guilty to 2nd-degree murder and will testify against the other 3.
Prosecution now using an interview defense investigators did with Smith in Oct. 2022. She told them it was unusual for #AlexMurdaugh to come at night during her shift, she told them he would not come during shift and so this really registered as unusual.
Smith told defense investigators in Oct. 2022 that #AlexMurdaugh was there the night of the murders for "about 20 mins."
Smith told defense investigators that #AlexMurdaugh came to her after the funeral of his father and said if someone asks you how long I was at the house the night of the murders, you tell them 30-40 mins.
MOTION GRANTED - Judge Clifton Newman rules the state CAN introduce alleged financial crimes by #AlexMurdaugh
"The court has reviewed all of the exhibits submitted and I've considered testimony..and I have concluded that the motion should be granted." BIG ruling in favor of the state in the #AlexMurdaugh double murder trial. Jury will hear about possible motive involving financial crimes
Judge finds that the jury is entitled to consider whether "the apparent desperation of Mr. Murdaugh because of his dire financial situation, the threat of being exposed for committing crimes he was later charged with, resulted in the commission of the alleged crimes."
