they started dating before joining the military, freshly in love and freshly accepting their sexuality, doing all the first togethers before also enlisting together

because he would follow him even in the fires of hell. he wanted to be with him, he needed alejandro like air and after having a huge crush on him for years this relationship meant everything

ghostsoap first argument
they dont rly argue bc soap doesnt allow ghost to shut him off, he doesnt allow him to bottle up emotions and not say them out loud until its too late

but they are still humans and sometimes when they are too busy to talk things out, to express their emotions, they do happen to end up arguing about the most stupid things

their first argument was over something trivial that turned into an actual storm, the entire base heard them raising voices at each other. soap was annoyed that day, the just finished mission dragging them both down and making them exhausted

ok but married soapghost who got divorced during their military career but also staying in 141 so its a mess. they keep it tactical but the heartbreak is too much and also longing feelings that they will never get rid of

yeah they divorced but they both would take the bullet to save the other one
anyways after soaps retirement they dont stay in touch and both of them know about each other thanks to price who is saving their relationship for his own sake

after ghost retires he doesnt rly ask price for updates, thinking that soap moved on and protecting his own heart from being heartbroken (yes this stupid idiot is still in love with his ex husband and cant stop)
