$VIX Here's an interesting stat:
The VIX has not closed above it's 50dma in over 72 trading days, and counting.
It has not done this since...*drum roll* 2006!
A few months later the VIX spiked 100% and $SPX dropped 7%.
Just tossin' a bone to my fellow bears.
