5: The Cherokee Nation would also like the #FarmBill to allow tribes to administer their own SNAP programs and expand and provide more funding resources to the Meat and Poultry Processing Expansion Program authorized by the American Rescue Plan.
6: The Cherokee Nation also hopes to see the creation of a 15% tribal set aside in the USDA Reconnect Broadband Program, Distance Learning, and Telemedicine Grant Program to enhance broadband access.
