I'm tweeting this now that I'm home from a quick trip to campus -- one where I drove over to pick up a fellow disabled person to drive them to the so-far-away disability parking that they needed the lift after they finished teaching.

And honestly it's so draining to hear that the campus spokesperson frames fixing poor planning as "empowering." We just want equal access, without having to go so far. Some of us can't go that far. Some of us have already left. Some of us have been pushed out from lack of access
