🚨 How to transfer Axis Edge points to non Airline transfer partners

Like, for example, from Axis points to Alaska or American 😀

But, why should we care?

✔️ Cathay Pacific (10k to HKG, 30k to Australia)
✔️ Alaska (25k in Business class to Japan)
✔️ American (negligible taxes/surcharges for Qatar qsuites)
✔️ Virgin Atlantic (10k to London, 20-25k to US, 15k to Europe)
✔️Air Canada (7.5k onwards to Maldives

Always transfer points from Axis Edge to Marriott Bonvoy via ITC Green points

💡Process flow:

Axis ➡️ ITC ➡️ Marriott ➡️ Airlines

But why to do such transfers?

1️⃣ ITC ➡️ Marriott would be at a 2:3 ratio

So Axis points transferred from ITC fetches more than directly transferring 🔥

2️⃣ 5k bonus miles for every 60k Marriott Bonvoy transferred

3:1 ratio from Marriott to Airlines with the above bonus

✔️ 38 airlines partners

▶️ 50k Axis Edge = 40k ITC Green Points
▶️ 40k ITC Green Points = 60k Marriott Bonvoy
▶️ 60k Marriott Bonvoy = 25k airline points

So 2 Axis Edge Points = 1 airline mile 🔥

✔️ If we notice, this is the same ratio as that of Amex airline partners! 😀

Limitations

➖ Only 60k ITC points be transferred per year (circumvented by transferring to family or friends' accounts)

➖ Only 100k Marriott Bonvoy points can be transferred but can receive 500k

➖ 5k bonus miles does not apply to American, Avianca, Delta, & Korean Air.

However, the biggest limitation would be the time involved in doing such transfers.

❌ It could take around 2 weeks for the miles to hit the airline FFP from Axis.

🚨 Bonus!

Sometimes airlines run extra bonuses for transferring hotel points.

Etihad has had a 50% bonus and United has had a 30% bonus in past.

Then ITC to airline transfer would be almost a 1:1 ratio! 🔥
