If you live in a framework that promotes sociopathy over empathy and living equitably in community with other people, then it is easy to ignore the suffering and oppression of others not deemed worthy under that same framework.
One of the things to understand about White Supremacy is that it is sociopathic by design.

The White and Privileged can ignore the harms done to others because they have incentive to promote erasure.
You can prioritize your entertainment choices over the lives of marginalized people because that's what the framework demands.

So what going to a Chappelle concert or playing Hogwarts legacy promotes evildoers? I want my toys - and they represent me!
Working life often requires folks to not share experiences, especially if they are marginalized, because this makes White folks uncomfortable in (and also makes marginalized people vulnerable to employment discrimination).

So White folk can pretend that all is well.
Meanwhile Center-White media outlets and social media platforms, being handmaidens to power, amplify Anti-Blackness, Transphobia, Homophobia, Misogyny, Xenophobia and Nativism because it's profitable and necessary.

This also promotes sociopathy.
As the aging Germans interviewed in the documentary Final Witness point out, the evils of Nazism were happening all around - and everyone knew. But there was no incentive or need to admit what was happening. So they didn't - until the Nazis lost World War II.
Aging White folks who participated in Jim Crow in the last century will admit the same thing. Evil was happening. But there was no reason to admit or stop it. Even if they wanted to, they would have to challenge the framework - and they wouldn't.
The world is older. But the very things that happen under a framework of systematized oppression remain the same. Hence why it isn't enough to pass a law or protest or vote - though these things must be done.

The work is both in the arena of government - and in society overall.

That would require self-awareness that most folks just don't have. Also means connecting the decline in sex scenes and the rampant increase in violence in and out of movies.
Additionally, and this is something that must be noted: The decline in sex scenes has come as the Internet has made adult video more available. As well as the advent of higher end shops, whose products are of higher quality than what was schlepped on Skinemax in the 1990s.
As anyone who has had the misfortune of watching a Lars von Trier film can attest, Hollywood can't compete with what's available. So why bother?

Thing is, Netanyahu's effort to supplant Israel's judiciary will do nothing more than make the nation more of a dictatorial apartheid regime than it already is. Which means nothing gets destroyed - other than the veneer of respectability Friedman and others accord it.
If there's one lesson that has come out of the last decade of politics in White-controlled and settler colonist nations, it's that judiciaries aren't powerful when those in power decide to steamroll over them.

Hell, America learned that right after Brown v. Board of Ed.
As with other Center-Whites and White adjacency-seeking Jewish people in the United States, Friedman is merely angry that Netanyahu, the Trump of the Middle East, is so vulgar in achieving his aims of committing genocide against Palestinians. Which folks like Friedman support.

If only Corbyn said this back in 2017. But then, Corbyn actually cared about the Labour Party.
Keir Starmer lied about being the next Corbyn because it was the only way he could win the Labour leadership. Since then, he has slowly told the truth about who he is and what he stands for. Which is absolutely nothing - and that's the problem.
Meanwhile Starmer didn't even have to demand the Labour Left to back him. Because he's kicked most of them out of the party.

In truth, Starmer's biggest problem is that he needlessly fights with key on-side voters when he could just keep doing his thing.

But still, that Alaina James person is a damned fool.
The goal is to create chaos, disorder and ultimately, have White teachers murder Black and Brown children. So this assertion is correct.

The point Chelsea Handler is making is that women should be able to control their own reproductive destiny. A point that a whole bunch of White Conservatives and others fail to understand because they are misogynists who think women should be barefoot and pregnant.
Chelsea Handler doing her thing doesn't affect my wife and I doing ours as parents.

Why are you so bothered?
By the way: The real question for these White Conservative men is "What do your wives say?". Because seriously, a whole lot of women be fine with the kids, but may say something very different about the having a husband part of the equation.

Shapiro out here going after Berlatsky because he's a crappy spouse in ways that can't always be solved by Tracy's Dog. Which is a self-own by any measure.
Shapiro's ego is so fragile that the thought of other people being just fine with their own lives disturbs him.

Sure, he's also a White Supremacist propagandist who debases himself for money. But behind it all is an ego as tender as a pair of gonads.
