You can read and judge this for yourself but I have a few factual issues with this column 1/4

@PYNance Newsmax demanded $13 million/year ($1/subscriber) from DirecTV to carry their channel. DTV wouldn't pay. That's why they were dropped. There's no evidence that any other issue was involved. DTV is ready to put Newsmax back on the air under their previous arrangement. 2/4

Newsmax is not a top 20 channel. In 2022 it ranked #52.

As for the claim about 22 'left-leaning news channels': Most of them rank HIGHER than Newsmax. That would mean Newmax is NOT the #4 news channel as they claim. 3/4

When you look at those 22 channels, most of them are bundled with other networks, and many are not news channels st all:
