2 things to do to completely standout from the competition and book calls even in the most saturated niches

1. Have a unique value proposition

Someone reached out to me on Instagram and said they liked my YouTube videos and wanted to help me with my thumbnails.

nothing is special about this offer, it is a commodity. I can get thumbnails anywhere. I had no sense of urgency or interest
NOW That doesn't mean you can’t get clients by doing direct outreach
Back in the Door to-Door sales days people would sell vacuum cleaners.

you could easily get one from the store but if someone comes to you directly you are more likely to say yes to them.
we should make our outreach Better tho

so if the D2D sales guy said “I guarantee this vacuum is $200 less than the one at the store and you can only get that discount through me today” then ppl will be more likely to respond
Now back to his offer.

If he would have said “Ill literally make you 10 thumbnails for free if you want”
Or “you only pay if the thumbnail performs better than normal”
even a step further. “I see your average views per video is 432. You only pay if the thumbnail gets you more than that. If it doesnt then its free”
That's a completely different value proposition and I would 100% say yes to something like that because I’ve never heard anyone else say that.

I cant just compare him to guys on fiverr even tho you are delivering the same thing.
2. Have a unique channel

Another way to stand out is by changing the channel your using for outreach

You can change the channel or media you are using to get clients.
I talk to alot of people that tell me “linkedin worked 5 years ago and now Im not getting clients”

You need to adapt and change
So if linkedin isn't working then try SMS, google calendar invites, pay pal, Twitter ANYTHING.
The more unique the strategy is the more likely they are to respond because they aren't used to seeing that type of outreach.
You also want to think “where is my audience at” if they are on youtube then make youtube videos. If they are on insta. Then reach out on insta.

Be where your audiences eyes are. Attention = money.
