I’d like to think we played our part too with the #ResignSturgeon#ButeHouse demo which took place 3 weeks to the day on #Burns 25/1/22. Thank you everyone who came to speak, listen and show their dissent! It was a really good day and eventually paid off #Dissent#IndyActionNow
Sadly @JNHanvey couldn’t make it on the day but we were delighted @Peter__A__Bell stepped in at last minutes to deliver a powerful speech largely based on one he had already given in 2014, Scotland being no further forward towards independence once then under @NicolaSturgeon ✊
Professor Alf Baird also dropped by to talk informatively about decolonisation which was the perfect accompaniment to @SSalyers2 on Scottish Sovereignty and what it means. @yvonneridley spoke eloquently on the issue on many of our minds, the #GRRBill and it’s effect 👏👏👏
The ever mischievous @TheIndyNinja1 tore into the Sturgeon/Murrell cabal for the crimes committed and @FrankieMaryNicA recited ‘Parcel o’ Rogues’ which is what we know they are! Some brave members of the crowd shared their words inc the scathing Sean Davis, we’ll see more of him!
Dissent Scotland is a new and growing activist collective whose purpose is to promote, agitate and protest for #ScottishIndependence. We will do this through creative arts and performance, direct action and political demonstration. #Dissent#SovereignScots#IndyActionNow
We are not affiliated with any other org or political party although our activists may be members of such. We have no leader and no hierarchy, some activists take on roles suited to their experience or skill set, but everyone is equal and will always be. #Dissent#IndyActionNow
We are not a homogeneous group and each #sovereign individual is able to engage in and encourage participation actions on their own accord, likewise individuals may choose not to take part in activities and that has no bearing on their standing. #Dissent#IndyActionNow
