Hey everyone, lets talk about NAFO jannie @AdamDalson, also known as Lieutenant Colonel Adam Dalson, who worked in J8 at the Pentagon for the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Currently he's studying at @AirWarCollege, which is basically like grad school while being on welfare. 🧵 ImageImage
Dalson has an obsessive compulsion with mass reporting anyone who contradicts the Ukraine narrative. I don't talk about the war much, but apparently my observation that Americans have no business volunteering to go there and if they get schwacked deserve it, sparked his ire.
He reported me, and gloated about it when my account was locked over it. Then Twitter realized their mistake and unlocked me within 24 hours. ImageImage
Dalson has turned this into something of a game, because apparently being a Lt Colonel attending Air War College as well as having a wife and kids, somehow leaves him a lot of time for this. Particularly during the duty day on taxpayer dollars. ImageImageImageImage
It's an open question why we have so many field grade officers being volunteer moderators on social media for the Ukrainian regime. Dalson is essentially a dollar tree version of Adam Kinzinger, apparently they make flamboyant KC-135 pilots named Adam who post cringe in a factory ImageImageImage
He even engages in pioneering 5th generation warfare research like... 1 starring restaurants in Moscow and leaving pro Ukraine statements in the review?

Some of my followers have worked with him IRL in the Air Force and said he was, quote, "a real twat" ImageImage
He's also skirting pretty close to the line, if not violating the line, in AFI 1-1, the Air Force regulation on personal conduct and social media use.

I joined the AF not long after Dalson did, LTC's didn't do dumb shit like this when we came up.
@RepThomasMassie @laurenboebert ImageImageImage
Not to mention the open question of how much of his partisan Twitter activities for the Ukrainian regime are done during the duty day. It certainly should raise some eyebrows that so many Air Force officers/enlisted put so much time into supporting their NAFO habit. ImageImageImage
Sounds rather... -checks AFI- contemptuous?

What a credit to the US Air Force, right? ImageImageImage
And if my report was bogus, I can't help but wonder how many of his other reports were bogus too. NAFO seems to love weaponizing the moderation system of twitter, completely out of context with their actual problems with the posters they don't like. ImageImage
Also, this brings to mind how unbroken the ground of contemporary warfare really is. At what point in information warfare are uniformed service members contributing enough to be considered participants or combatants?

Do we really need active officers making statements like this? ImageImage
And moreover, how should @elonmusk and @TwitterSupport handle nation states using the blurred line of their uniformed military members acting as digital partisans in real conflicts on their platform?

Under the Parag regime this sort of thing was rather one sided.
Moreover, will the DoD be able to get a handle on some standard of military bearing and professionalism in its officer corps? Not with millennials that are field grade officers and don't know how to shut the fuck up or use an ounce of discretion. How can anyone respect the rank?
And how much confidence does it breed in the DoD that the dudes in places like J8, which compiles assessments and strategies for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, are no longer staffed by sober men of maturity, but by this kind of cringe redditor? I guess he's just fitting in. ImageImage
But we also have to wonder what type of company guys like Kinzinger and Dalson are keeping when they participate in these "digital militias", which I should note is also addressed in AFI 1-1: ImageImageImage
I'm aware that to some degree this is NAFO leaning into the joke, but take it from me, when you're letting everyone from the fringe come hang out, don't be surprised when people who actually belong on the fringe show up because you let them associate with you. ImageImageImage
That's all for now, but I will be emailing this thread to the military emails of the senior leadership cadre at the Air War College, in the hopes that a bit of attitude adjustment can take place.

Brigadier General William Freeman
Colonel Robert Rowell
Colonel Christopher Berg ImageImage
invisibleally.substack.com/p/weekly-happe… this was also linked to me with an interesting expose on NAFO and how the core group of "fellas" look like some dollar tree S2 psy op that was cooked up well in advance of the hash tag and was staged. Worth a read.
And for the record, I don't talk much about the Ukraine war to begin with. I'm not coming at Dalson because I'm some putinist, or a vatnik, etc. I do not have much emotional investment in the war. But this is a pathetic way for a Lt Colonel to act, and he mass reported me.
I also am not declaring some blood feud with the NAFO people, they can play their little ARG for as long as it lasts. I don't care, as I mentioned, I am not emotionally invested in the war the way they are.

I just want to be left alone, Dalson asked for it.

We severely need a fix for this. Almost all jobs of consequence are gatekept in this way, and it's frustrating, speaking personally as a guy without a degree.

So ubiquitous at this point I feel like I could just pencil whip it.
Even now with the restructuring of the federal civil service across the board, there will be tons of vacancies but almost no good positions that don't demand at least a bachelor's. Which is disheartening.
All a bachelor's is worth these days is an HR filter that the applicant probably understands how to write professional correspondence and use Microsoft Office.

What's funny is that no one can bring themselves on either side to state the real reason this is a logical thing to do. We all know these spiteful wretches aren't above tampering with data on the way out, so freezing them out of the systems until they can get a local copy makes sense.

The formal elements of the right don't really want to point this out because it'd just fan the flames to explain how mentally unstable and unreliable a huge chunk of the civil service is, because it exposes a major liability we've been sitting on for years.

The left won't point this out because, it truthfully explains why what @DOGE is doing is the right call.

Remember when Trump came into office the first time and all sorts of theater kids in GS jobs who ran social media accounts for federal agencies started rogue tweeting for a week or so until they were fired? Imagine that but it's actual data tampering meant to conceal wrongdoing or gum up the process of mapping out exactly what these people have been doing for the last quarter century.
For everyone thinking this should be handled internally and not by an outside third party like DOGE, you really can't trust fedgov tech workers, and that's really obvious. Too many saboteurs in waiting, they have to be frozen out too.

Unfortunately, at the scale and stakes of what the administration is attempting to accomplish, they have to treat the overwhelming majority of the civil service as insider threats until the good ones and the bad ones can be sorted.

I grew up in the CA Central Valley in the 1990's, when it was still a pretty wonderful place. The place I grew up in no longer exists, and the people responsible have names and addresses.

That's why I'll never get tired of winning. It's why I've worked towards this moment for over a decade.

Rents are high, home ownership for the zoomers is difficult or impossible in many places. Job opportunities suck. My hometown is full of drugs and immigrants. My home state is ran by corrupt communist demagogues.

I want these people and their bullshit culture to feel the same way I have for most of my life, to see all the things they think are good crumble before their eyes. To be put through humiliation ritual after humiliation ritual, because we didn't deserve any of what they put this nation through.

And now we don't need to "imagine if the roles were reversed!"
The machinations of these people destroyed the world I grew up in, the world I was taught to live and compete in. I will never forgive them. Image
I won't let them do the same thing to my kids that was done to my generation. They must be disempowered.

Sam Altman is in a pickle. He can't admit that Deepseek is based on stolen IP from OpenAI because then he'd have to admit that he doesn't actually need 400b in datacenter infrastructure to get a faster chatbot.

Imagine you're talking to someone, and you can speak freely, and say whatever comes to mind.

Now imagine you're talking around your progressive liberal sister at the thanksgiving table and don't want to set her off and cause an incident, so you have to consider everything you say because she's fragile.

Which mode of thinking and speaking is faster and more easy?

ChatGPT spends computational resources on every prompt you input to figure out if you're trying to be lowkey racist or trick it into telling you the name of HP Lovecrafts cat.

Deepseek probably just uses keyword based inference to make sure it doesn't talk about topics the CCP doesn't like and everything else is fair game.

DEI holds us back in the AI arms race.

Which is why it shouldn't be used to automate any govt systems, you don't replace DEI bureaucrats with DEI AI that uses Toxigen
I'm probably on Altmans shit list for the DAN thread but his product sucks quite literally because it's woke.

Tays Law prevails.

This is part of the reason why a ton of Indians own all these motels and gas stations. They rotate interest free loans for immigrants to start businesses. When it comes time to pay interest, another eligible Indian buys it from them with their own loan and they just keep rotating
"Interest free" is hyperbolic, so I'll walk that back, but extremely low interest SBA loans is one example.

There are small business loans with very beneficial terms meant to help immigrants start a business. After a few years, they will cash out and sell the business to kin.
So you'll see a Shell station, for instance, owned and operated by an Indian guy. He exclusively employs Indians who work there until they get their long term residency permit. Once they have a green card, they can apply for a loan of their own.

It's a grift mill.

Did you know your tax dollars are paying for pro bono legal services for illegals by way of federal and state grants to nonprofits? There's a simple way to end this with an executive order and other measures, I will explain:
NGO's like the Innocence Project and immigration organizations use grant money to convince firms to represent illegals and felons on the basis that their attorneys can get easy litigation experience. Most firms require 60 hours of pro bono work for first year lawyers.
Even "Conservative" firms like Jones Day play this game. This also includes "voting rights" assistance, which is essentially pro bono work fighting voter ID laws. As a result of the way it's set up, almost all pro bono work is for liberal causes.
