China finally went GMO positive yesterday. What investors have not figured out yet, is that a $SEED variety of corn developed with partner CAAS was just given a Bio-Safety certificate by the Ministry of Agriculture.
We reported this fact to our premium members a few days ago, after discovering this #InfoArb in China, which is not easy to find. $SEED
Unfortunately, $SEED has yet to report this breaking news via a press release. However, the info is buried in the 20-F filing filed Tuesday.
On top of this news, the 20-F also discloses the Company expects to obtain the approval of additional certificates for further GMO corn varieties in 2023 and 2024. $SEED
A key aspect investors should note is that $SEED's:
>Research partners like CAAS do not produce product
>Partners use SEED's IP to help develop GMO varieties
>When a partner receives certificate approvals, $SEED will generate revenue from exclusive arrangements with its partner
Last time $SEED received a Bio-Safety Cert. approval was in Nov. 2009. The stock went from ~$50 to ~$150 within 5 trading days of receiving approval. Shares retreated when China scrapped GMO positive initiatives. Today, China FINALLY goes GMO positive for the first time.
