Speculating here but I have a new theory on how AM pulled it off. He turns his phone off before they head down to the kennels. After the kennel video, he and PM get the chicken from Bubba and kennel him while MM goes and checks on the rest of the chickens. #AlexMurdaugh 1/13

While MM is gone, PM goes into feed room to look for an ointment for Cash’s tail. AM grabs the shotgun from ATV maybe and shoots PM once in the chest. He’s shocked and stumbles towards the door dazed and confused. AM is surprised PM is still alive and stumbles backwards but 2/13

Trips on the pavement drop off and fires a second shot from the ground. Meanwhile, MM comes running from the chickens area at the sound and AM scrambles and grabs the 300blackout and starts rapidly firing at her as she’s running towards the feed room. Once she drops 3/13

To the ground, he walks up to her and fires a final round in her head to make sure. Then, he hoses himself off and grabs a change of clothes from the cabin nearby. Grabs MM phone and sprints back towards the suburban. Calls Cousin Eddie and tells him to 4/13

Come and clean up the evidence. (Eddie’s gf is his alibi but I’m sure she’s used to covering for him in the past). He speeds away, spends 20 min at his mom’s, and speeds back towards the house to make sure Eddie got everything before someone else comes over from worry and 5/13

Discovers the bodies first.
Now for motive:
I think it’s a few things.
1. Everything spiraling out of control. Needs to be seen as the grief stricken father/husband to buy time to get more money. 2. Boat case hearing needs to be postponed so he can hide more money. 6/13

3. PM and MM discovered his addiction a month earlier and his “little detective” had been on him like glue trying to find his stashes and MM wasn’t happy with him about it. He’s been addicted for 20 years and now his family knows so it’s becoming harder to keep a supply. 7/13

All a hardcore addict cares about is making sure they have enough of their supply to get through the day. Most people care about their family more than their vices but addicts care about their vices more than anything. PM and MM had become a threat to that. 8/13

Severe addicts will lie, cheat, and steal from whomever they have to, even the ones they love, to make sure they get their next fix. I don’t think he was buying $50k a week worth of street pills but someone as prominent as him would pay extra hush money to ensure discretion. 9/13

The roadside shooting and aftermath: Not sure yet if it really was an insurance scam or AM tying up loose ends. If he really wanted to die then it was because he knew he was going to jail and feared the thought of detoxing in prison and shaming the family name. Or 10/13

He lured Eddie with the premise of assisted suicide but really planned on killing Eddie instead because he knew his murderous secret and make it look like Eddie was behind everything and the real killer and it was self defense. They struggled over the gun and Eddie fled. 11/13

At some point, he reaches out to DH and JG for legal help and confesses his detox in jail concerns. They get him into rehab out of state so he can detox and convince him that an insurance scam is better than attempted murder charge on Eddie. Eddie went along with 12/13

The scam story because it’s better than an accessory to murder charge. He’s frantically trying to reach Eddie from the hospital so they can get their story straight. So that’s where I’m at after day 20 in the trial. 13/13
