Twitter is disabling SMS two factor authentication for anyone who doesn’t have Blue. This is absolutely fucked up in every way. But don’t let it prevent you from using two factor authentication. Token apps (I use @Authy) are super easy to use and even more secure then SMS.

Limiting replies on this for a while because it is being AGGRESSIVELY bot spammed and I don't have the energy to report hundreds of bots.
(Also people are having weird super heated security arguments in my comments and not untagging me 🤪 LOL)

Did you know for two days in a row Jewish people have been shot leaving their synagogues? Two people were shot. Thank goodness they are alive and the shooter has been arrested. But I guess we’re just so used to Jews being massacred in this country it barely makes need anymore.

I'm deleting that long covid thread because I'm becoming increasingly furious and I don't want to get myself in trouble.
But I'll just say this: Admitting you didn't give a fuck about chronic illness until you became chronically ill...and then having the audacity immediately to write a manifesto about how people are insensitive to those with chronic illness...it's not great.
And new disableds are also ignoring and discounting the community that has already been built. It's not their fault, they have been ableist their entire life and didn't know it and are now suddenly thrust into realizing how the world really is and have to unlearn everything.

The NYTimes response to hundreds of their employees, journalists, and readers calling for them to stop their anti-trans "reporting" in a nutshell: Get Fucked.
I wonder how it feels to be @Charlie_Stadt and actively participate in aiding the NYTimes in the abuse and marginalization of the Trans community.
They didn't even have the decency to respond to take the time to respond individually.

It's cold, flu, and immune-pseudoscience season so just FYI turmeric is unstable in your body and is neutralized within 10 minutes, there is no good evidence that Vitamin C fights illness, and it is impossible to "boost" your immune system so don't waste your time and money.

Twitter right now is like trying to leave a dinner party with a bunch of Jews, everyone says goodbye one hundred times and then spends three more hours talking and never actually leaves.
Wait! Wait! Twitter right now is like trying to get off the phone with my Jewish mother. We say goodbye and then we spend three more hours on the phone while she says “one last thing before you go” every thirty minutes.
I genuinely don’t think Twitter is gonna end in such a dramatic fashion like everyone is implying. It might go down a few times but it will come back up. The reality will be a slow death over time as people will trickle away.
