A small thread to Parents whose kids are facing their academic exams , if you happen to travel to Chennai or live in Chennai, pay a visit to Lakshmi Hayagreevar koil at Chettipunyam , Chengelpet. Very old temple , very powerful temple too. Every final exam I'd++
++ pay a visit to that temple. If possible teach your kids Lakshmi Hayagreevar slokam. If going to the temple is not possible , you can keep his photo and offer Elakai-Maalai every Thursday . I was doing this too when we were living in Bangalore. Take a Long thread make ++
++ a maalai of 21 or 42 or 63 elakai(elaichi) , (no.of elakai is as per your convenience , but minimum is 21) , while preparing the maalai ask your child to chant Hayagreevar slokam , and offer that maalai to him. Later take those elaichi , make it a powder , mix it in hot milk++
++ or water and make your kids drink that. Elakai is supposed to give good memory power. Of course all these are only support systems and to create positive energy for the kids. Ultimately they have to study and farewell.
