1) What is $AZERO?

$AZERO is a "post-blockchain" solution based on the progressive principles of Satoshi Nakamoto, providing an efficient, decentralized & customizable technology.
The protocol uses a DAG. This is fast & practical & allows a decentraliced and trustworthy platform

2) Understanding the main goal of $AZERO

$AZERO is intended to be a promising solution for business & technology companies that need fast, decentralized &reliable data exchange.

In other words, $AZERO solves the blockchain trilemma with the optimal balance.

3) What makes $AZERO different from other
blockchains?

Traditional blockchain protocols can only create one block per time, which severely limits performance.

In contrast, AlephBFT, as a DAG consensus protocol, allows multiple users to create blocks simultaneously.

Thereby $AZERO achieves a higher throughput rate. Aleph Zero uses DAG as its data structure, but it is still a blockchain.

4) Understanding the Consensus of $AZERO

$AZERO uses AlephBFT as its core blockchain protocol, which combines PoS with DAG.
DAG serves as an auxiliary structure & enables faster transaction speeds & higher throughput rates.

As a result, a decentralized structure exists by eliminating sequences.
The Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) architecture ensures that communication between nodes remains effective & transparent despite malicious nodes.

$AZERO is working to achieve higher decentralization through the appointment of rotating committees.

5) $AZERO & its interportable privacy-enhancing
smart contract infrastructure

$AZERO uses two solutions:
- Zero-Knowledge-Proofs (zkProofs)
- secure Multi-Party Computation (sMPC)

The combination of both methods enables the creation of a shared private state for smart contracts that doesn't need to be made public.

The system allows developers to write smart contracts on different platforms such as $ETH & $NEAR while keeping the private state on $AZERO.

Zero knowledge proofs are used for basic transfers, while sMPCs are used to interact with the shared private state.

6) $AZERO and the zkProofs technology

A zkProof makes it possible to prove the truth of a statement without revealing details about the statement itself.

In blockchains, zkProofs are used to ensure that transactions are valid without disclosing transaction details.

In this way, users can maintain their privacy by NOT having to reveal sensitive information such as account balances or transaction details.
