he uses Adam & Hawa (Adam & Eve) to explain how the relationship b/w man-woman is supposed to be

they “sinned” btw (sexual connotations)

me who read Paradise Lost line by line for class was so happy for this reference

she even got “interested” in all the “teachings” & admired herself

long story short, it was a metaphor for Murtasim basically sexually awakening Meerab 😜

Hades is the King of the underworld

he kidnaps & marries naive virginal Persephone, takes her to the underworld & makes her his queen

so our “Hades” ie Murtasim is introduced as the true “king” of whatever he rules over (😜) amidst violence contrasting with our innocent childlike “Persephone” ie Meerab is seen living happily (read ignorantly) in her loving home

Meerab is daddy’s little PRINCESS, her father treats her like a child but now it’s time for her to “mature” 😉

this is basically her journey to become Murtasim’s QUEEN

“Khan ki Khani” is what they are calling it in the show 😜

since acc to mythology (& psychology), a heroine’s journey goes from being a naive virginal princess to marrying a powerful king (who teaches her the ways of the world 😜) & give birth to a child (ie become a mother)
