Last night was one of the most painful personal experiences. I ordered food through @foodpanda_pk and received call from the rider at 2 AM and informed that he was robbed and his bike broke and has injuries. I asked him to go back as he was 40 minutes walking distance away...
From my place. There was bad fog last night. He arrived in an hour and I personally opened the door for him. I could not stop my tears to roll down my cheeks. A young innocent beautiful kid was on the door. One foot without shoes and bleeding. I hugged him spontaneously and...
Asked him to come inside. He said PKR 5000 were snatched and his bike broke as it fell on his leg. If he had gone back the order that he brought for me would b charged from him.He said the money snatched will b paid by him as @foodpanda_pk will not believe him and say its a drama
Needless to mention that I gave him pain killers, tended to his wounds, made him eat and gave the snatched money and let him wash his face and hands all scratched. The point is much simpler and painful. They are paid Rs 30 for each delivery IMAGINE!!
What hard life these young kids are living we must b aware and considerate of this fact. Be gentle to them. Be generous with tips. Any Sadqa or charity u want to give on signals to professional beggars should b given to them. I usually spot them and approach them and help.
@foodpanda_pk is requested to b considerate towards these riders. Change ur policies and help them. They r charged even when a customer refuse to accept any order. Dont do that ever. Pakistan deserves better. These kids did not choose to b snatchers or terrorists..
They chose hard halal life. I am still in tears. Cant even for a second take his face, his innocence, his acdeptance of fate which he doesn't deserve out of my mind. Imagining my son in his place and my heart bleeds. #foodpanda
