This is the childhood photo of Karim Adeyemi playing street football in the city of Ibadan, Nigeria.

Karim his Empowering the Less privileged through "@karimadeyemifdn", which is highly commendable.

While Fufu is really good for speed, let us check out the back story
In the hard ground of Ibadan, Nigeria – the country of his paternal family origin, Karim Adeyemi’s Dad made him hone his footballing skills in preparation for his future. His Mum, Alexandra, guided him in roller skating, which helped him to be blazingly fast.
He said his father was always gifting ball to him growing up and had grass carpet installed in his room with all the lines in place.

“My father came to Europe to play football because he comes from a football family but he was already old when he got here.
So, he could not play much. Since I was little he taught me about football and was always buying me ball and soccer stuff.”

Karim-David Adeyemi was born on 18th January 2002, to his mother, Alexandra Adeyemi, and father, Abbey Adeyemi, in the city of Munich, Germany.
Abbey’s Yoruba origin is Ibadan. Karim Adeyemi’s Mother (Alexandra Adeyemi), on the other hand, is a Romanian.

When asked, Karim said he vividly remembers when he first played soccer, probably at two – when his Dad gave him the ball in the cradle.
Little did he know his Daddy was passing on his trade to him.

Alexandra and Abbey’s meeting was divine

In the 1990s, Karim Adeyemi’s father left Ibadan to pursue a football career in Germany. He went to the country, not as a youngster but as a late bloomer
At the age of 30, he felt that he was already too old to make it in the sport. Sadly, Karim Adeyemi’s Dad abandoned football.

After retiring, Abbey went on to live in the suburbs of Munich, where he earned a living doing different middle-income jobs.
In that city lived Karim Adeyemi’s mother. They Both met, shared their experiences, and fell in love in the process.

After karim progressed through SpVgg youth departments, the Footballer graduated from their academy in 2018.
Following his graduation, Karim featured in the A-Junioren-Bundesliga, scoring on his debut, a feat that earned him a move to the Austrian club – Red Bull Salzburg.

Due to the need to gather senior football experience, Red Bull Salzburg loaned Karim for a season-long loan
to their feeder club – FC Liefering.

Returning from Loan, Karim Adeyemi’s football exploded with Salzburg. He, alongside stars like Patson Daka, formed a formidable partnership with Erling Haaland, who later left for the German Club – Borussia Dortmund.
With persons like Enock Mwepu providing midfield support, it became easy for Karim not just to score goals but destroy opposing players and goalkeepers

In no time, senior career trophies started pouring in for the teenage sensation.
Karim Adeyemi helped his Salzburg side (for two consecutive seasons) win the Austrian Bundesliga and the Austrian Cup.

Further on-pitch partnerships with Junior Adamu, Noah Okafor, and Brenden Aaronson came after the departure of Patson Daka to Leicester.
Having previously represented Germany in their U16s and U17s, Karim’s Salzburg rise made Stefan Kuntz (German U21 coach) invite him to the UEFA European Under-21 Championship. Guess what! Adeyemi and his teammates conquered the world to win it.
After Florian Wirtz’s call to the national team by Joachim Low, everyone knew Karim was next in line – following his sublime performances with Red Bull Salzburg.

The new German manager (Hansi-Dieter Flick) finally called him to the national team in September 2021.
Karim came in as a late substitute for Serge Gnabry in a FIFA World Cup qualification match against Armenia.

To the joy of his family, the rising star scored the 6th goal in the match. Watch the unforgettable moment that would forever linger in the mind of Adeyemi.
By getting called to the German national team, Karim Adeyemi became the first footballer from an Austrian club to achieve this feat.

Let alone scoring on his debut – during injury time. According to DW, that puts him on the verge of a big move.
On 10 May 2022, Adeyemi was announced to have joined Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund on a deal until the summer of 2027. Adeyemi is the third big signing for Borussia Dortmund who finally wants to challenge Bayern Munich again for the title.
Karim Adeyemi is indeed one of the best in Germany’s production line of forwards. The rest of his Biography, as we always say, is now history

Late Alhaji Safiriyu Tiamiyu’s quality item, S.T Soap, immediately turned into an easily recognized name during the 80s into the 90s, due to its potency, packaging, and rhythmic advert jingle which practically turned into a public hymn, particularly in the South West,
which obviously was responsible for the fame and excessive demand in the market by all.

In 1979 Alhaji Safiriyu Tiamiyu popularly known as S.T began what was referred to as S.T Soaps Limited with the amount of 5,000 naira (N5000). In an interview with L’abe Orun Program,

The IFA priest who sacrificed himself for ljebu Land

Thread! Retweet Image
Long ago, when we still worshipped orisas among the trees, and orisas and heroes still walked among us, a major part of ljebu was suddenly covered with water from a lagoon. It was in serious flood and it threatened to inundate the whole of ljebu Land
and other parts of Yoruba land. The ljebu elders decided to consult the great IFA priest Onisemu Leguru.

Leguru brought out his "opele" and after a long panegyric rite, he cast it.

The odu Ifa that came spoke of a mixture of both bad and good fortune.
