Was your Canada study visa application denied for finances but you don’t know how to address it?

Bola thought the same but took some steps to rectify her finances before reapplying. She was approved the second time. Come and learn what she did differently…A Thread 🧵
She has a BSc Chemistry but has been a business person for 5 years so she applied for a business management program. Submitted her application in October and was denied in Dec 2022.

Reason: Insufficient funds and insufficient sponsor documents😫.
She didn't notarize any of her sponsors' letters - her husband & brother. She had #5.5 & $8,000 in her personal accounts. Her 2 sponsors had more than 85,000 USD in their dollar accounts and she paid 11,500 CAD to her school account. She thot finances was settled until....
she was refused. She didn't submit any of her property docs in d application. She deferred to May and resubmitted in Feb 2023.

She paid an additional $15,000 for her tuition. Her brother & hubby transferred #10M & $13k into her domiciliary account. Both sponsors swore
affidavit of giving her 25,000 CAD each year throughout her study. She submitted landed property documents & car documents.

Her sponsors wrote sponsorship letters & proof of relationship letters (all notarized) and she resubmitted all the other documents from d 1st application
She also fasted and prayed🙏🏽 and ensured she submitted a strong SOP (composed by @seyispeaks). As God would have it, her application came back approved!

Her joy 🥳 knew no bounds but the most important things are the subtle changes we made to her application to...
...turn things around.

Hope you found this valuable. Like and retweet the 1st tweet to spread the value and if you are not following @seyispeaks, check your temperature 😌. Have a lovely day and see you in the next tweet✌🏽

If you are wondering how to reapply for a Canada study visa after a refusal....gather here!

Anu's story will inspire you. She applied on May 15 2022 and got refused on Sept 20 on the basis of finance and personal asset.

This is how we tackled the refusal and got her approved!
In her 1st application, she paid part of her tuition and used a sponsor to show proof of funds but didn't include any property or asset. We reapplied on November 15, without getting GCMS notes becos @seyispeaks spotted what the issues were.

@seyispeaks advised the following:
1. She paid full tuition for 1 year

2. Her sponsor credited her $ Dom account part of which was used to get a GIC as proof of funds for the remainder of her tuition

3. The balance of $5000 was deposited in her $ dom account to cover living expenses. Then....

Who's a Canada permanent resident (PR) & what is d bid deal about becoming one. A PR is someone who's allowed to live, study & work in Canada 'permanently' within a 5- year renewable residency period. They can also become a Citizen. The big deal? Lets talk about it on ds thread🧵
A PR isnt totally permanent tho cos its possible to lose ur PR status & be forced to leave Canada if it's determined that u have committed a serious crime or are a threat 2 Canada. Tho you cannot vote or be voted for until u are a citizen, u have several other BENEFITS as a PR...
As a PR, u can live anywhere in Canada (except if u came in thru a PNP that requires u love in dat province). Yr children born in Canada are Canadian citizens, not PR! As a PR, u have better choices of jobs especially government jobs that are not accessible to temporary residents

6 things I wish I knew when I started my Canada relocation journey that would have made the journey easier and faster.

You can learn from my errors so that you avoid them and move to Canada in a 'no hassle' fashion.
A thread 🧵
1.Using Quack and Inexperienced Agents: This one is huge! I am amazed at the number of people who get duped by all shades of agents on a daily basis.

It is easy to believe these quacks because they have ‘sweet mouths’. I was almost a victim as well.
2.Not realizing that age matters for some immigration routes.

And I know a lot of people who, for the reason of age, have either given up on Canada.

Knowing the immigration route that suits your age is a biggy. The study route is currently the most accessible despite age.
