An American beach in the 1950s.

Everyone is slim, tanned & beautiful.

Nobody is Keto, Paleo or Vegan.

So what happened? Let’s take a look 👇
I have been into fitness & health my whole life.

The past 10 years I’ve seen a good trend towards diet & exercise.

Despite that, people are bigger than ever. Why?

Let’s rewind time & take a look. 👇
1. Saturated Fats

In the 50s, heart attacks became increasingly common.

People demanded answers.

The AHA suggested people reduce their saturated fat intake to prevent heart attacks.

Even though humans ate butter, lard & tallow for thousands of years, fats were blamed.
2. Processed Sugar

Big sugar companies didn’t want to be blamed for heart disease either.

In 1964, sugar industry executive John Hickson had an idea.

He bribed Harvard researchers to write reviews that would debunk anti-sugar studies being released.
3. Seed Oils

With fats no longer used for cooking, Americans needed a substitute.

Labeled “vegetable oils”, seed oils were sold as a “healthy alternative.”

Linked to cancer, heart disease & even dementia.

Here is a graph showing their usage in the USA.
4. Processed Foods

With women entering the workforce, families had no time to make their own food.

Processed pre-made food became the norm.

Filled with added sugar, salt, seed oils & preservatives, TV dinners were born

They were a hit, and the packaged food industry boomed
5. Sedentary Lifestyle

People now sit more than ever before.

More sitting means less daily activity.

Less daily activity means fewer calories burned.

Fewer calories burned means more fat stored.
Summary:

Saturated Fats
Processed Sugar
Seed Oils
Processed Foods
Sedentary Lifestyle

Our modern life is killing us.

If we hope to change, we need a revolution, not in diet, but in habits.

We must stop blaming everyone else and start taking responsibility for our choices.

How I’d Fix My Marriage in 90 Days:

A Thoughtful 24-Hour Plan⬇️ Image
Marriage is team work that requires continuous effort, reflection, and prioritization.

When relationships hit rough patches, it’s tempting to look outward for solutions, but real change starts with a shift in focus and intention.

If I had 90 days to fix my marriage, I’d approach each day with a carefully structured schedule to ensure I was actively contributing to the health of my relationship.
Here's the detailed, hour-by-hour plan I’d follow:

Morning: Starting the Day with Purpose

Each morning, I’d wake up two hours earlier, before the kids or the husband to focus on myself before the day begins.

This time would be used for a workout to stay physically and mentally strong, as well as for any personal work I need to accomplish.

By handling these tasks early, I’d free up more time and energy to focus on my husband and family throughout the day.

Remember prioritize your husband above the children.

50/50 marriages are a recipe for disaster.

Here’s how to structure your relationship instead:⤵️
50/50 relationships are transactional by nature.

They imply if you do something for me, I’ll do something for you.

Although teamwork and relationship roles are important, this poses a huge problem.
The problem with this logic is it implies love is conditional.

It’s like claiming, “If you fulfill your end of the bargain, I’ll stay married to you.”

But that makes marriage feel like a chore instead of a loving bond between two people.

There are extroverts, introverts & lone wolves.

What’s a lone wolf?

They are the most successful personality trait of the three.

Here are their qualities & the advantages they have over others: Image
Lone wolves & introverts have many overlapping characteristics.

But they differ in a few key traits.

Introverts are introverted because they’re shy.

Lone wolves are not.
Introverts have been forced into this category by their fear of social interaction.

Although lone wolves might prefer to be alone, they’re not shy.

They’ve actively chosen to be this way, due to its advantages.

Here are the 7 traits of being a lone wolf:

Debunking Relationship Myths: On Twitter

Let's dive into some common relationship myths I see everywhere on Twitter.

🧵 Image
"Myth: You can't find a wife in a club."

𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓: You certainly can find a wife at a club.

I met my husband on my birthday in a club.

It does happen.
"Myth: A good wife is a Christian and conservative."

𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐓: Religion and politics don't guarantee good marriages.

Seen this in countless examples including my parents' and their struggles.

It showed me that indoctrination often deters joy in a marriage.

The secret to a good marriage is never giving up on each other.

If a married man j*rks off regularly, it’s likely his wife’s fault, let me explain why…
Feminist women who hate men don’t want this thread to be true.

Why?

Because in their minds men are the enemy and deserve to be blamed for everything.
If you’ve followed me for any amount of time, you’ll know I hate that ideology and am one of the most pro men accounts on Twitter.

That means I tell you truths other women won’t.
