(2) Children's rights which are enshrined in the Austrian Constitution are currently being violated because the Austrian Climate Protection Law is not effective anymore and thereby endangers children’s futures.
(3) The world’s youth has been calling for climate justice in the streets for years now. We have a right to a livable future and we will not let our world be destroyed.
(4) When our rights are violated, we go to court. Today, twelve children together with their lawyer @MichaelaKroemer and @Claw_climatelaw contest the Austrian Climate Law before the Constitutional Court on behalf of all Austrian children.
(5) Because of the ineffective Climate Protection Law, which does not even deserve its name, our constitutionally enshrined children's rights are being violated.
(6) When the rights of an entire generation are violated, it is clear for us: We will sue until they act!
