Despite his case was pending in the SC Khairul Islam a Govt teacher born & brought up in Assam, was detained from his home on 23rd May & pushed into Bangladesh by security forces.

There the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) again pushed them to No man's Land & they stuck there. 1/13

Rita Khanam his wife told to National Herald "on 23 May personnel from Mikirbheta police station came to our house and took him away, saying they had a few questions & he could return home after that."

Later he was pushed to Bang but the family hadn't been informed. 2/13

After Khairul was forced out of Ind Border a Bang Journo took his interview & posted it into FB.

He told the journalist
“I told the Assam police that I am a teacher and asked them to respect me. My hands were tied like I was a thief and I was made to sit in the bus.".... 3/13

Since late 80s Jihadis of mujahideen groups armed & trained by US & Pak to fight the Soviets infiltrated the land of the valley & disrupted its unique Kashmiriyat. 2/20

Kashmiriyat is that old culture of respect & harmony showcased in Shah Mir's successor grandson Sultan Shihab al Din's shock when his Hindu finance minister suggested him to melt down a brass image of Buddha to increase the treasury which the shocked Sultan strictly refused. 3/20

Brigadier MPS Bajwa was the Commander of the 192 Mountain Brigade then. This time Sepoy Md Arshad of 19FF PAK had been captured while lying injured among dead bodies of Pak soldiers by troops of Gorkha Rifles after an attack by Indian Army in the Zulu Top sector. 2/10

The Gurkha soldiers were asking him in Gurkhali beyond his understanding. Brigadier Bajwa later recounted when he first saw the Pak soldier he was blindfolded and appeared quite scared and under trauma.
So he addressed in Punjabi "Mohd Arshad kee haal hai, kaka tagro ho” 3/10

Nazakat Ahmad Shah (28) was the guide to a group of 11 : 4 couples and 3 children.
He saved them all.

Nazakat's cousin Pony wallah Syed Adil Hussain Shah who was killed by those terrorists when he stood between gun and unarmed tourists.

Nazakat was with the group of 11 when the gunfire began. The families told him to first save the children.

The area was fenced but there was a small opening in the fence Nazakat slipped through it with kids & ran. After keeping those kids in a safe place he again returned. 3/5

“Municipal officials have told you orally several times to vacate the land but you refuse to vacate the land without following statutory provisions. And in your ego (‘apni hekdi ke bal par’) you say the said land has been given to us..."

However the local residents have copy of the notice earlier issued on 18 July 1986 instructing to settle here in the present area under relocation program.

Also 40 of the 41 houses newly built under PMAY homes. After receiving the notice they went to meet the Exe Officer. 3/8
