I don't think we talk enough about the Gemara that says that the reason why Ravina and Rav Ashi are "sof horaah" (end of the amoraic period) is because a guy read "The Book of Adam Harishon" and read about the future
And then it just continues like nothing happened and it's never mentioned again, as far as I know
"yeah I read it in the book of Adam Harishon, you know, the one, that contains the history of everyone and everything that will ever be, anyway, let's get back to talking about how cool Rav Kahana was"
If you know of any sources that discuss what the hell is going on here, spill

Look I'm just some idiot but I think that if you don't want your financial crimes funding your schools to be covered by the New York Times you should maybe not do financial crimes to fund your schools but what do I know
"they're false accusations!"
You mean the ones that I've heard at a solid percentage of shabbos tables since my childhood? Come on. We all knew. Come on.
Most of what the New York Times has been reporting has been stuff that I've personally heard discussed in a "we all know" sorta tone and I'm not even any sort of insider. Spare me the feigned shock and outrage.
Very weird to me when someone I've never spoken to before addresses me as if we've been having a running conversation.
"you always do this"
".... Who are you?"
That said, it is how I met my wife. So.
"you don't always have to be such a contrarian"
"..... A pretty girl knows who I am enough to -accurately!- criticize my general tendencies? Hot damn!"
*whispers*
The shape of the braided challah that people are getting all up on their high horse to "defend" is not intrinsically holy, it's just Eastern European
Personally I would find it hilarious if after 120 I go up to heaven and God says "actually, the Samaritans were right. They are the only legitimate followers of the Torah because Eli ruined everything" I wouldn't even be mad about it! It's too funny to be mad at!
"how was I supposed to know that!"
"it *does* say that Eli's sons were corrupt. And they've got Israelite DNA!"
".... Oh Come on!"
"Technically you did still have free will, can't argue with that."
People assume that Judaism just takes the food of the surrounding culture when Judaism practically demands that you have your own distinct culinary culture shaped by kashrut and shabbos/holiday laws
Sabich, for instance, is essentially a breakfast sandwich made out of ingredients that either don't need to be warmed up (fried eggplant, vegetables) or are already being cooked for lunch (eggs). It's for shabbos mornings
There's nothing that hurts my own confidence as much as seeing someone tweet the dumbest thing you've ever seen and then a bunch of people praising them for it in the replies.
