Melanie - very excited about the promise for what the space can provide, in particular an opportunity for agriculture education as well as the open space #osrp0223
Susan - wanting to keep the space open with passive recreation, it does provide us an opportunity to maintain some of what Franklin was
Roger - restoring the barn, make the driveway pervious, enable larger garden spaces than those currently provided by the Community Gardens at King St, possible collaboration with FHS for cross country trails, markings with explanations on wetlands, etc.
Stacy - looking for spaces to release wildlife, looking for land conserved for wildlife, (runs a wildlife rescue non-profit)
Ed - great to use property for agricultural purposes, also does hiking and photography
Ray - long time resident, daughters have been active with dog park, DelCarte, ideas are not mutually exclusive, would like for more trails, community supported agriculture - CSA production for flowers, vegetables, etc. education mission not profit
Haley (Ray's daughter) Natick community farm, owned by town but a non-profit all on 2 acres of space, education main goal (ag ed). approx. 40 CSA, 20 meat, 20 flower CSAs
CJ - Fairmount Farm, concern about competition among the CSA shares for the other farms nearby
Mark, preserve as much of this as is, like the agriculture education aspects
Melanie - opportunity to connect the space with students at Norfolk Aggie, a quarter acre is a lot of space to start farming with
