If you missed my latest SitRep, check it out here. Yesterday out of respect of all fallen heroes of the first year in the war there was no SitRep. The latest is from 2 days ago.
Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki arrived in Kyiv. Later today he announced that Polish Leopard 2's are already in Ukraine and that Poland will send an additional 60 PT-91 Twardy tanks, as well expressed readiness to train Ukrainian pilots on the F-16.
Allies.
Troughout the whole world, all kind of ways to support Ukraine became known. In Paris, Amsterdam/The Hague, Chisinau, Tblisi, Bern, Lisboa, Haifa, Berlin, Warsaw and many other places the Ukrainian flag was risen and people went on the streets.
World united against Putin. Together, we can overcome everything and we will win. Europe is stronger than ever.
The US Department of Defense (DoD) announced a new security assistance package to Ukraine which totals $2 billion. The aid is provided under USAI, which means the equipment will be procured via long term contracts and not taken from current stocks.
Spiegel reports that Sweden wants to hand over 10 Stridsvagn 122, an upgraded version of the Leopard 2A5 with additional armor and grenade launcher.
In addition Sweden will also supply Hawk and IRIS-T air defense systems to Ukraine to strengthen its air defense in the long term.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced that Canada will send 4 additional Leopard 2A4 main battle tanks to Ukraine. ctvnews.ca/politics/canad…
To the front: Artillery fire on 🇺🇦controlled territory west of the Oskil River intensified. No changes to the map. Around Svatove, Russian troops attempted an attack in Kuzemivka, which was repulsed. Around Kreminna, fighting in Serebryansky forest continues. No changes.
North of Bakhmut, the situation is not good. Despite a 🇺🇦 counterattack yesterday, 🇷🇺 troops managed to take northern Berkhivka. There is fighting in Yahidne. In the south and east, the situation is fairly stable. Aviidvka/Marinka/Pobjeda is under control despite Russian efforts.

An overview of the daily events in the war between Russia and Ukraine. Spain confirmed it will send 6 Leopard 2A4. All along the eastern front, fighting flared up, multiple reports of hostilities.
As usual we start with Russian losses per 22/02. We also include visually confirmed damaged, captured or destroyed enemy equipment or targeted personnel.

Everybody is waiting for Putin to address the Federal Assembly in Gostiny Dvor in Moscow. Most likely he will make announcements regarding the war in Ukraine.
