EARLY VOTING THREAD (Part 1 of 2): Of course many factors go into Republican candidates winning on Election Day, but there is a voting mechanics issue that Republicans are only recently waking up to — winning early voting. Which is why @ScottPresler built EVA. In AZ, NV, PA,
WI, and NC we are bent towards fixing this mechanical issue, because sadly there is only a finite amount of money Republican campaigns are going to have at their disposal in 2024. So ask yourself this — if in Arizona (11 electoral votes), where there are 27 days of
early voting, do you want the next conservative presidential or senate candidate wasting a single dollar of this precious, finite amount of money on YOU if you are a dedicated Republican voter? Because until you vote, a portion of these campaigns’ money is going to be spent
targeting EVERY Republican voter. And if you’re going to be voting down the line Republican, one of the most helpful things you can do is VOTE DAY ONE — so then any dollar that was going to be spent targeting you is going to be spent targeting a Republican perhaps a bit less
enthusiastic about voting, or perhaps an independent voter on the brink who needs a bit more convincing…that one last door knock or last targeted digital advertisement reminding them about Biden’s failure in East Palestine and how unfit he is to continue serving in the White
House. As the party that genuinely respects economics, and the efficient allocation of capital, ensuring our candidates have the ability to maximize their resources is the BEST thing we can do as conservatives! Not to mention banking votes early keeps Republicans in the clear
from certain bureaucratic tricks that somehow always benefit the left — again cast your eyes towards Arizona where last Election Day 70 of the 223 vote centers in Maricopa County experienced problems with printers causing some ballots not to be able to be read. Next cycle, on
November 5th of 2024, when these “problems” start occurring again EVA and our supporters want to be able to laugh and relax knowing that over the previous 27 days EVERY Republican voter already voted, leaving only the laziest of democrat voters to experience these printing
problems. Importantly, in every swing state EVA currently is targeting, the early voting options are ready to be taken advantage of by conservatives in ways Democrats have monopolized in the past. In Nevada (6 electoral votes) because of state legislation EVERY registered active
voter receives their ballot in the mail before Election Day.
So by October 19, 2024, EVERY active registered Nevada Republican voter (and as of 1/31/23 there are 552,571 active registered Republican voters in the state) is going to have their ballot on their table. EVA’s goal is
to get EVERY one of those voters to go return their ballot DAY ONE! This past election 57,672 Republicans voted early in-person the first week, and 43,671 Republicans voted early by-mail the first week. On the second week 81,055 Republicans voted early in-person, and 47,766
Republicans voted by-mail. The problem? If only those same voters vote early next election, there would still be 322,407 Republicans that campaigns would need to spend money targeting right up until Election Day, along with the 561,973 registered, active non-partisans any
Republican candidate is going to need to win over! Adam Laxalt, in 2022, was defeated by only 7,928 votes, but the worst part about that defeat was that he only received 490,388 votes, meaning that even if NO non-partisans were voted for him there were still 62,183 registered
active Republican voters who were in possession of a ballot but were not mobilized to return their ballots. In this upcoming election, EVA is going to make sure EVERY registered, active Republican voter is ready to cast their ballot on DAY ONE, Saturday, Oct. 19. So once we have
secured Arizona and Nevada, that puts a combined 17 electoral votes in our favor. So we look to North Carolina (16 electoral votes), a state with some of the BEST early voting options in the entire country. Thanks to N.C. Gen Stat § 163-226, “Any qualified voter of the State may
vote by absentee ballot in a statewide primary, general, or special election…” And the best part? County Boards of Elections begin sending these ballots out 60 days before the election, which this upcoming cycle means September 5, 2024!
All an NC voter needs to do is request this ballot right here: votebymail.ncsbe.gov/app/home. Unfortunately, Absentee Ballot (“AB”) usage in North Carolina is historically quite low. In 2022, only 4.97% of ballots were cast this way. But in this underutilization EVA sees opportunity!
As of today there are 2,185,829 registered Republicans in the state, and we want to see as many as possible cast their vote on 60 days before Election Day so that every dollar campaigns are utilizing is going towards the 2,573,277 registered unaffiliated voters. Every day we inch
closer to November 5th, every dollar is going to become increasingly more precious, and the most economical thing a Republican voter can do is ensure every dollar that would be spent ensuring they get out to vote instead goes towards swinging an unaffiliated voter.
To cross our t’s and dot our i’s, EVA also wants to make sure that North Carolina Republicans utilize their in-person voting methods as well, because in every county around the state Early Voting is going to begin on October 17th and run until November 2nd at 3pm, and registered
voters can vote at any early voting site in their county (unlike Election Day where you must go to your specific assigned polling place)! Every vote we bank on October 17th is a voter we are not going to be spending money targeting up until November 5th, meaning it opens up more
resources towards swinging the independents! And with 60 days of possible early voting, with multiple means of casting those ballots, EVA wants to see zero Republicans show up on Election Day because by then the race is already over and Republicans sweep up and down the ballot
(and don’t forget that there is a gubernatorial election in North Carolina this cycle)!
Since that brings us to 33 combined electoral votes we then should turn our eyes to Wisconsin (10 electoral votes). In Wisconsin, Republicans have 47 days to cast their votes before November
5th. All a registered Republican voter must do is check where to go and vote here: myvote.wi.gov/en-us/Vote-Abs…. Senator Ron Johnson only narrowly won Wisconsin in 2022 by 26,718 votes (1,337,185 to 1,310,467). While there is no voter registration by party in Wisconsin, precedent from
2016 and 2022 shows that when EVERY Republican turns up in Wisconsin, Republicans win. But the best way to make sure this happens is to bank every vote we can early, so that every single day the election nears our Republican candidates' campaigns are spending their time and money
convincing the voters they need to convince to vote for them, not merely talking to the voters who they already won. IMPORTANT: we get the chance to test this early voting strategy this spring in Wisconsin! While the Election Day for the vitally important Wisconsin Supreme Court
race is April 4th, early voting (in-person absentee) begins on March 21st at every municipal clerk’s office throughout the state — check here: myvote.wi.gov/en-us/My-Munic….
And now this leads us to the largest of fights, Pennsylvania (19 electoral votes). In Pennsylvania there are
50 days of early voting Republicans can take advantage of — but in 2022 this strategy was NOT utilized properly, since over one million registered Republicans did not show up to vote in an election where the margin of Democrat victory was 263,752 votes, and of the 1.4 million
voters who requested absentee ballots before the election, roughly 70% of these came from Democrats. Republicans had the numbers to win, and Republicans absolutely had the time to ensure EVERY Republican voter was utilized, yet our inability to organize and mobilize the early
vote proved devastating to our electoral chances. In 2024 EVA refuses to let this mistake occur again. With those 19 electoral votes, combined with our other target states, utilizing early voting would give Republicans 62 swing state electoral votes, and assuming all other
results stay equal from 2020, Republicans would win the presidential election with 281 electoral votes, alongside numerous swing state senate, gubernatorial, and congressional races (not to mention even further down ballot at the county and municipal levels!)
The same way we are dead set on ensuring that every campaign is best able to utilize their finite resources, we have cemented our aims on these 5 states to ensure the proper resources are going into winning the most targeted states where our efforts will have the greatest
success — Michigan & Georgia residents should ABSOLUTELY follow our lead though and begin organizing and mobilizing in parallel fashion.
Every campaign, every state party organization, every county conservative women's group, etc., all only have finite resources to utilize in
winning the 2024 election, and EVA wants to focus on the narrow YET overwhelmingly important (yet rarely acknowledged) problem of ensuring voters get to the polls on Day One. If in Pennsylvania and North Carolina we are able 50 and 60 respective days out to begin banking our
electoral leads, candidates are going to be able to reach further and further into the voter pool convincing and mobilizing independent and inactive voters to get out and vote. And then we are going to win. If you want to help us, go to earlyvoteaction.com and become apart
of our organization. We are going to make sure the early voting infrastructure is there, but we need every Republican we can get to execute this strategy.
