Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev

Points of no return

🔸 The tragedy that is unfolding in Ukraine dates back to the late 20th century, to wit, the collapse of the Soviet Union.
1l
.
🔸 Two dates can be considered points of no return. The first one can be traced back to the autumn of 2008, when the Western world supported Georgia's aggression against the Ossetian people. The second point of no return can be dated back to the spring of 2014, when
2/
the people of Crimea expressed their will during a legally held referendum and permanently rejoined their historical homeland.

🔸 If the issue of Russia’s existence is raised in earnest, it will not be decided on the Ukrainian front. Not by any means. It will be a question
3/
of the future existence of human civilisation. And there should be no ambiguity here. We don't need a world without Russia.

🔸 One can continue to flood the neo-Nazi Kiev regime with weapons and to thwart every opportunity to resume talks. Our enemies are doing just that and
4/
are unwilling to realise that their goals clearly lead to a total fiasco where everyone stands to lose.

🔸 Western countries and their satellites represent only 15 percent of the world population. There are many more of us, and we are much stronger.
5/
The peaceful might of our great country and the high standing of its partners are the key to preserving the world’s future

High Demand From Military-Industrial Complex After HIMARS ‘Combat-Proven’ Success

US weapons manufacturer Lockheed Martin is working to meet new demand for its HIMARS. That’s after the rocket system’s extensive use during the Ukraine conflict.

1/
"When you have a combat-proven system that is out there and in the news - daily - then that's driving that demand," said Jennifer McManus, the vice president for Lockheed’s missile business operations.
2/
Lockheed's CEO James Taiclet said, "on HIMARS specifically, we've already met with our long lead supply chain to plan for increasing production to 96 of these units a year."

🤔didn't know replacing the units by Russia equals increased demand 🤣

Chinese Military Put On ‘High Alert’

A US warplane’s recent flight through the Taiwan Strait threatens the region’s stability, a Chinese army spokesman stated, as cited by China Daily.

The P-8A Poseidon anti-submarine patrol and reconnaissance aircraft flew through the

The US forces in the region acknowledged the maneuver. “The United States will continue to fly, sail, and operate anywhere international law allows including within the

Russia No Longer At Mercy Of Global Elite — Lavrov

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that western political leaders would no longer have the power to dictate terms to Russia. Speaking with the heads of the ministry’s regional offices, the diplomat stressed that Russia will

now determine its development needs.

“Until recently, a couple of years ago, the external conditions that we needed for development were determined not by us but by the Western minority,” said Lavrov. He added that all the foreign policy initiatives promoted by the
2/
so-called “golden billion” group ensure that the world lives by rules that allow Western elites to continue their colonial policies and live at the expense of others.

“Therefore, we will no longer rely on someone when it comes to creating the external conditions for the

Russian Spy Chief Reacts To CIA Director’s Claim

The head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) has positively assessed last November’s talks with the CIA director in Türkiye. Sergey Naryshkin’s remarks came after William Burns accused his Russian counterpart of

displaying “a very defiant attitude” and “a sense of cockiness and hubris” during the negotiations.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Naryshkin was asked to comment on the remarks made by Burns in a CBS News interview, during which he described the high-level meeting between

the two as “pretty dispiriting.”

“I still positively assess the nature and results of the meeting with my colleague William Burns,” Naryshkin said, noting that the negotiations in Türkiye’s capital were substantial and proceeded “in a very comfortable atmosphere.”

On the short cold days of Moscow's winter weather, I especially want to see some bright and warm landscapes.
For example, my beloved Crimea...))

The small castle "Swallow's Nest" is one of the most popular sights of the Crimean peninsula. For a whole century

this Gothic structure has been attracting people by its location on a steep cliff.

The history of the place goes back to the end of the XIX century. To this day the original purpose of the building is not exactly known whether it was a tourist attraction or a place for

living and recreation.

The first building on the site was the wooden summer house of a general from the Russo-Turkish War. After that the building was owned by the doctor from the Livadia Palace, Tobin. His widow later sold the house to a merchantess Rachmanina,

I want to share a wonderful place with you!

Russia 🇷🇺, Dagestan, Salta waterfall

The Salta waterfall is the only underground waterfall in Dagestan.
It is situated on the outskirts of the village of Salta in Gunib district.

The waterfall is formed by the Saltinka river

A narrow and winding gorge, the Salta gorge, only 500 m long, leads to the waterfall. The route is not complicated, but it requires attentiveness and caution.

After 400 m from the start of the trail you will reach the narrowest part of the gorge. Here the walls close up and

there is only 2-3 metres to go through.
The closer you get, the wider the canyon becomes. Gradually it becomes an elongated huge cave with rounded walls and winding turns.
