The problem, EcoHealth Alliance isn’t just a research firm looking for whatever funding they can find for the sake of humanity. They seem to be a shell organization, used by the CIA and Pentagon to funnel money secretly into banned weapons research.

This is a recorded phone call between Joe Biden and Petro Poroshenko, the president of Ukraine before Zelenskyy. On this call Biden tells Poroshenko that he feels they should close down PrivatBank and expresses his concerns than an IMF loan to Ukraine might be in jeopardy.
PrivatBank used to be owned by Ukrainian Okigarch, Igor Kolomoisky. PrivatBank was also the bank being investigated by the prosecutor that Biden demanded be fired or else he would withhold $1b is funding from Ukraine.
This is where it is important to understand something about post-Soviet Ukraine. After the collapse of the USSR, Ukraine was left in a politically chaotic position and was a prime host for corruption of all kinds. Here, former North Florida deputy Zachary Wester is caught multiple times planting drugs in the cars of innocent people who gave him permission to search their vehicles. Multiple children were separated from their parents as a result of his actions.
Deputy Wester’s illegal activities were discovered by a prosecutor who became suspicious of the high number of arrests he was making. She would later quit due to being ostracized by her peers.
