Vechain is a project with a long term vision, which has been evolving since day 1, passing through many ‘winters’ and ‘summers’. It could be considered as a veteran in his own space, jointly with a bunch of few projects. Solving real world problems is the reason why for Vechain

To solve real world problems you need to operate in the real world. Having a robust technology infrastructure is not enough. You also need to be able to utilise your own resources to very concrete things such as gaining a license to operate in the world you would like to change..

….gaining visibility, engaging other stakeholders, increase your own capacities and capabilities. Doing this would require a lot of obscure but necessary work which in the last couple of years has been exponentially increasing. Now, vechain is stronger than couple of yrs ago

One of the main unique features of vechain vs other initiatives has been, like it or not, the chosen governance, which cannot be limited only to the steering committee election discussion. Stakeholder diversity is equally important than stakeholder engagement.

The road to decentralisation requires much more participation from current stakeholders than today’s. As an example, economic nodes where not able to contribute to the voting both in round 1 and 2. A future goal for vechain could be to increase participation from stakeholders.

We need to work together to make it happen and enhance trust among and across vechain supporters and stakeholders. ‘Us’ and ‘them’ must be replaced by ‘we’. Communication will play a key role here. Governance will also need to evolve and to learn from the good and bad experiences

We should not forget the hardness of the environment in which we operate. It is much much harder to operate in the real world than playing only in crypto space. Try to open a fully licensed bank account being a L1 player, as an example. This is a real world problem as well.

Trying to be a bridge between two different worlds doesn’t mean to betray early adopters, believers and developers, but rather to expand the space in which all can operate, in view of mass adoption. It is a difficult and painful process but, I think, is the only sustainable way.

Last, but not least, we need to remind that without the commitment and the perseverance of people like @sunshinelu24 @PeterZh47977516 @JZhang6157797 this would not have been possible. So, let’s stay focused, and let’s increase constructive interactions.
