Some #Shiromani of top order are questioning me "Why have you asked "Rest of India" on what do they feel about 370 and how can they tell what the situation is in J7K?". Well, that precisely has been the problem. You just don't consider "Rest of India" as a stakeholder in J&K.

First: who exactly supports the Valley separatists in "rest of India"? Answer is: nobody. Though the core issue of Valley separatists is "unfinished business of partition" or their Islamic identity, even the Muslims across India do NOT sympathize with them. Forget the rest.

Second: Stop considering Valley voice as THE voice of entire J&K (and also Laddakh for that matter). Jammu and Laddakh were ALWAYS against the separatists agenda in the Valley. No matter what. And population wise Valley is NOT the majority of J&K. Get your facts straight.

One of the few things that occupied my mind during this crisis is the impact on mental health due to the stress and grief that Covid has put us through. While there would be Doctors and Gurus giving all the Gyaan, there is just a small possible effort that all of us can try...

Just make a list of 30 most important people in your life; friends, family members, teachers, colleagues and even people playing small but important supporting role in our day today lives. And as a checklist, just #Call2Check their wellbeing. Just #OnePersonADay.

This is important, simply because talking it out helps. We just need to share. We need to let others know that we are there for each other. More so to the people who we care about, and those who care about us. We need to say that no one is grieving alone and we will sail through.

पच्चीस सालों के अपने कैरियर में दो चीज़ें न तो भूला हूं, न ही कभी भूलूंगा :

१. चाहे कितनी भी सफलता मिले, अपने से पहले के सीनियर प्रोफेशनल की हमेशा इज्जत करते रहना।

२. और अपने बाद जो आए उनका हौसला बढ़ाते रहना, उनकी सफलताओं की खुले दिल से तारीफ करना। उनसे भी सीखने की कोशिश रहना ।

अब इन दोनों बातों को आप संस्कार कहें, मनस्थिति कहें, चाहे परिस्थिति कहें । लेकिन ये बातें मेरे अंदर तक घर की हुई है । मुझसे बड़े, हमउम्र और छोटे; चाहे मुझे चाहने वाले हो या मुझसे नफ़रत करने वाले, मेरी चाहे हज़ार दूसरी गलतियां गिना दें, पर इन दोनों मुद्दों पर हामी भरेंगे ।

जब किसी सीनियर को अपने से जूनियर की सफलता पर खुश होने के बजाय नाराज़ होते देखता हूं तो मन दुखी होता है । हम बड़े तभी हैं जब हम बड़ों की तरह खुले दिल से दुआ देना सीखें । हमारा बड़प्पन अपने से छोटों की सफलता को सेलिब्रेट करने में है, उन पर उंगली उठाने या उनको नीचा दिखाने में नहीं ।

Globally the Centrist-Middle-Of-The-Line public was always so well accommodated within the Liberal camp. Used to be the natural and normal phenomenon just a few years back. Something has strangely changed changed that dynamics turning it upside down the world over.

This all started when the policies of Globalization started getting local resistance due to extremely local reasons, particularly in Europe, giving rise to far-right leaders. They were ridiculed by liberals for obvious reasons. But somehow the economic issues remained relevant.

Odd thing to notice: the issues were purely economics related, but looked mutated with racist, anti-migrant campaigns of the far-right leaders. The more noise these far-right made, the more ridicule they attracted from the liberal camp. That came natural in political friction.

काफी समय से अपने बनारस को दुबारा समझने कि कोशिश कर रहा हूं । अक्सर ये काम अग्रज पंडित जी करते कराते रहते हैं ।आज सुबह सब उन्होंने केदार नाथ सिंह की अद्भुत पंक्तियां भेजी:

*बनारस में बसतं कैसे आता है*

*बनारस में बसतं कैसे आता है*

इस शहर में वसंत
अचानक आता है
और जब आता है तो मैंने देखा है
लहरतारा या मडुवाडीह की तरफ़ से
उठता है धूल का एक बवंडर
और इस महान पुराने शहर की जीभ
किरकिराने लगती है

जो है वह सुगबुगाता है
जो नहीं है वह फेंकने लगता है पचखिया..

जो है वह सुगबुगाता है
जो नहीं है वह फेंकने लगता है पचखियाँ
आदमी दशाश्‍वमेध पर जाता है
और पाता है घाट का आखिरी पत्‍थर
कुछ और मुलायम हो गया है
सीढि़यों पर बैठे बंदरों की आँखों में
एक अजीब सी नमी है
और एक अजीब सी चमक से भर उठा है
भिखारियों के कटरों का निचाट खालीपन..

India gave liberals an exemplary modest RW called Atalji. They abused and disrespect him
then.

LKA followed and they started saying Atalji was moderate.

It took NaMo for them to start respecting LKA. Now with Shah in, will find NaMo a moderate. Yogi and Sadhvi are in line.

There is a pattern to whenever the Indian RW offered it's most accommodating appreciative faces, only to be humiliated by the Lutyens ecosystem.

The common man has been observing their every step and reaction. Every humiliation forced another deep rooted mandate. One by one.

And the action-reaction theory continues even today. And likely to continue in future as well.

The LeLi ecosystem in Lutyens is unable to understand why public is reacting the way it is reacting. Why mandates are not really following their narrative.

Blame the people. Yup.
