Bob Mackin did a story on this, but I just recently found the post showing Han Dong delivering an award from the “federal government” to the voting alliance.
This is interesting. It a Reddit post from someone claiming that he analyzed Justin Trudeau’s Papineau riding donations and voiced election interference concerns to major news outlets - five years ago. I can’t speak to his analysis, but if it’s correct - reddit.com/user/oldwindcu…… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
The thread is worth going through. He says he identified several ridings in the 2015 election - not just Liberal ones either - where he believes he found evidence of election interference.
He also claims he experienced harassment and was called “a racist” after posting his findings online.
These businessmen were promised investment and face-time with Premier Li Keqiang in return for hosting lavish fundraisers during a time when Trudeau was trying to broker a free-trade agreement with China.
This was the article. Several people reported on this at the time. This was from Jeremy Nuttall. Any links to the original article in Wenzhou News have been scrubbed as far as I can tell.
I’m not sure if you recall, but Justin Trudeau was in enormous trouble and polling said he was in danger of losing his seat to the NDP in Papineau in 2015.
Multiple locations are listed under the corporation, including one listing Weng Guoning as a director under “The Chinese Council for Canadian Elections.”
Liberals: Canadians alone decided our elections, and to question it is racist and Trump-like! 🤡
Oh. Weng Guoning claims journalist Sam Cooper’s report about China’s allegedly having funded 11 Canadian candidates through a local businessman “baseless,” defending Wei Chengyi, the subject of investigations involving political interference in Canada.
These one say that the Public Health Agency of Canada just happened to sign a deal for the first time ever to track and monitor a pandemic through cellphones by technology put out by a Virology Institute a month before a pandemic happened. twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
And yes, that sounds really crazy to me too, but the first contracts from PHAC to BlueDot were given in November of 2019.
Why did they sign up then, and did they suspect earlier that we were in a situation? I dunno.
This is our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau posing with Dr. (Morgan) Gongbo Li.
Dr. Li was the former overseas chair of Zijin Mining - the Chinese state-owned company that has been permitted to acquire four Canadian mining assets without national security reviews since 2018.
There was an account once that spoke up about this and followed it, but she was banned.
It was sort of a big deal. It created an entire new way of looking at critical minerals as assets. politico.com/news/2022/02/0…
If you can’t spot being a target - you already are one.
Meanwhile, Liberal MP Jennifer O'Connell said parliamentarians don't know how to spot and report being targets of foreign agents. "There is really little to no briefings or training for MPs on how to even deal with that."
A general rule I follow is don’t give contracts to friends, don’t take vacations from millionaires, and don’t accept cash from foreign officials. So far, technically this strategy has been a wild success, because I’ve never had an ethics breach.
