#MattyDickPics still pretending that one can totally misrepresent what screen caps say--as he has been caught doing over and over--and they'll still be true if taken from docs. Image
#MattyDickPics again lies to his little dupes. MUCH of what he is complaining about--deliberate disinformation about means of voting--has been prosecuted under the Ku Klux Klan Act.

He's basically running PR for voter suppression. Image
Self-described reverse chauvinist for Russia lies about what the claims re 2016 are -- and spreads Trump-worthy disinformation about what was demonstrated.

Why would journalists apologize bc they didn't chase single server fallacies, like #MattyDickPics? Image
Anyway, tune in on Thursday when Jim Jordan has decided that #MattyDickPics is a more credible witness than FBI agents who got fired for refusing to arrest right wing militia members who attacked the Capitol.

Is there a rule somewhere that says journalists shouldn't mention something VERY OBVIOUS AND PERTINENT, such as that Mike Pence wrote about this stuff in his book (with nary a squeak at the time from Trump, I might add)?
There are FIVE of you bylined on this article. FIVE of you.

Surely at least one of you has read, at least, the WSJ excerpt that makes it clear Pence already answered (or claimed to answer) many of the questions Jack Smith will ask.

Right?
So EITHER Pence's claims in the book were lies--which might be pertinent given that he wants to run for president--or, he & Trump are doing nothing more than frivolous obstruction.

One of the FIVE of you could maybe ask your Trump sources why Trump didn't object to the book?

This passage, in Tim Kelly's order rejecting Pezzola's attempt to use conspiracy theories abt the Winter Palace doc, may explain why J6C and DOJ approached the doc using different timelines.

storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco… Image
DOJ interviewed Eryka Flores on May 3, 2022, at a time they were prepping sedition charges against the Proud Boys. They needed to know whether they could use the doc precisely as they did: to demonstrate what Tarrio would mean by tying "Winter Palace" to 1776.
They didn't interview Armes until October 6, at a time--other reporting suggests--they were trying to figure out how OTHERS might have used the doc or similar docs.

Page 8 of the sentencing memo for the most distinctive looking Jan6 defendant: Gosh. He's got pretty good form.

Note that Chuck misleadingly suggested all the sources of dirt on Hunter Biden were internal whistleblowers.

Why did @ChuckGrassley lie to the Attorney General?
@ChuckGrassley Garland spent 70 Marshals to protect the Justices after the leak of Dobbs.

He's explaining that the priority has been on protection, not prosecution.

Lndsey Graham starts oversight of Merrick Garland by complaining about 2 deaths that happened under Bill Barr.
BREAKING: Lindsey says we can't let people go who've been involved in terroristic activities, seemingly supporting the pre-trial detention of January 6 attackers.
Chuck Grassley seems to be on Hunter Biden now. Falsely set it up as if the tips came from whistleblowers.

Daily Kos has laid off @Brandi_Buchman halfway through covering one of the most important, and most grueling trials in the US right now. emptywheel is working to give Brandi a home through the end of the trial, so she can continue to focus on this important work.
It's really hard to overstate how important the Proud Boy trial is, both for accountability for far right militias AND for Trump himself. The Oath Keeper trial, which was far less important, was covered far more closely by Big Media.
With @JordanOnRecord on a well-deserved break, the primary people offering detailed live coverage of the Proud Boy trial are @rparloff -- hosted by @lawfareblog -- and @Brandi_Buchman, who just got laid off for her troubles.
