i guess thats a wrap for this arc! it was nice but i get the feeling that part of the reason why its kinda hard to latch onto nanchan at first is because of the way the present timeline is set up as a series of unrelated vignettes that has nothing to do with the main characters

you get crumbs of their past here and there but it only goes in full swing much later

and i know theres at least a couple more to go thru (i remember one featuring a pencil spirit???) so you kinda have to sit thru a long ass exposition before getting to the meat of the story
