Alright so let's talk a little bit about team RWBY being in the sequel of Alyx's story because this genuinely reveals SO much.

Let's take it step by step from

know that Alyx did beat the Red King at his own game, but we didn't know how.

But the Red Prince's words along with what Yang said confirmed it. Alyx cheated.

And who knows how far she went when she cheated, but something definitely->

happened to the Red King because of her cheating.

Alyx went through her trials, she overcame them through cheating, and then she left home through the tree. She lived happily every after, the end.

But...the world she left behind didn't.

I know most of us assume that this bridge is some sort of reference to the Gods, and it could be.

But what if it isn't?

The structural integrity of the bridge on the dark side is intricate, beautiful, unfitting for a world of ruin.

what if that world was just another acre?

Just another land which ended up getting destroyed as a consequence of Alyx's actions?

Because we see ruins. Drainage pipes. Signs of what once could have once been a civilization.

this interesting thing the Jabberwalker says once they pick the metal gear.

"Fix."

Fix what? Themself because they're hurt? Sure, could be, but with a gear?

Or what if the Jabberwalker's instinct once they see a ruin is to fix it?

if that's their purpose? To fix what Alyx destroyed.

The world reacts to Ruby's emotions, so I'll assume it reacted to Alyx's emotions as well. What if through everything, Alyx quite literally destroyed the fabric of reality->

of the Ever After?

Like Weiss said, the morals of the old stories are outdated and shortsighted.

We see Alyx as the protagonist, as the hero of the story.

But everything points towards her being a villain, creating chaos everywhere.
