Alright, so my tweets about this have been disorganized and all over the place, so I'll make a single big one
Alyx broke the Ever After and left it in ruins.
Here is how we got that from this episode.
Let's start with the domains and->
what we know so far.
We've been to two acres (excluding the one we started in)
The acre of the Red King.
And what I'm assuming is the acre of the Jabberwalker.
Both of them have been shown in ruins in some way, shape or form.
If we look at->
the acre of the Red King, at first glance it doesn't look that destroyed, it actually looks alright.
But it isn't. There are rusty ruins everywhere. A white that's tainted and not pure.
And, of course, the biggest problem, there is no Red King anymore.
And we know it's->
Alyx's fault.
Alyx beat the King at a board game. But, from the reaction of everyone around, including Yang's own words, Alyx only won because she cheated.
So you might be wondering, how exactly is it Alyx's fault that the King met his demise/disappeared? I mean she just->
cheated at a game, nothing more than that.
Well, that's easy. Look back on to the Cheshire Cat's words to the Red Prince.
Everyone is put on an acre for a purpose. That's the reason why Little is so focused on names and them being someone's purpose.
The Red King was->
supposed to win no matter the cost. After all, if the King falls, an entire Kingdom is doomed.
And he did fall. Because Alyx cheated.
And his acre fell to ruins.
Now let's move on to what I am assuming is the domain of the Jabberwalker. But before we get to their domain->
we need to talk about a very crucial piece of information.
We aren't in Alyx's story. We're in its sequel.
Why is this information so important when we get to talking about the Jabberwalker? Because they shouldn't be alive if we're in the sequel.
In Alice in Wonderland,->
Alice cuts the head of the Jabberwocky. Considering that The Girl Who Fell Through the World is that story, Alyx should have cut the head of the Jabberwalker.
But we can see they're just fine.
So what if Alyx didn't kill them? What if she tried but failed, so instead she did->
something to destroy their acre. That would be tied to the Jabberwalker's purpose, because as we've seen previously, if the head of an acre can't fulfill their purpose, that acre falls to ruins.
Now before talking about what might be the Jabberwalker's purpose, I want to talk->
a bit about why I think this is their domain.
I know most of us think the bridge is some kind of reference to the Gods and sure, it could be.
But I have my doubts.
Because we can see that the dark domain had trees. That's life. That's creation. Not destruction.
We see signs->
of possible past civilization in ruins and drainage pipes. And the Jabberwalker's instinct as they got hurt was to run to it. To heal there. So I'm assuming this is their home.
So what did Alyx to do prevent the Jabberwalker from doing their purpose?
Well there is this thing->
the Jabberwalker says once they pick up that gear off the ground.
"Fix"
Now of course, they could be talking about themself and how they're hurt. But why fix?Why not heal?
Unless that's their purpose
To fix what has been broken,to fix chaos
Which Alyx just kept spreading
->
She went from acre to acre, going through the trials the world threw at her and cheated through most, if not all of them
Ending up either creating chaos everywhere she went, or winning in the trials and stopping the heads of the acres from fulfilling their purpose
->
And all of that ended up creating more chaos than the Jabberwalker could handle, leading to the destruction of their own acre by extent
That could also explain their initial hostility the moment they met RWBY and the gang.
They knew they were humans. And in this world, humans->
only bring destruction from their perspective. And their purpose is to prevent that.
But Alyx succeeded. She went through the trials, got to the tree, and went home. She lived happily ever after. The end.
But the word she left behind didn't
I also want to mention that I'm fully expecting to be wrong on more than half of this stuff💀
I'm doing a lot of reaching, I just missed losing my mind in theories over RWBY🥹
